The film, Intime won 5 awards at the Playhouse Film Festival. We sit down and speak with the director and producers, Gabriel De Santiago and Tyler Schabel about their experience making this short film. So many questions, really eye-opening answers.

The Playhouse film festival is over and what a great time it was. 

Playhouse West teacher, Chris Liebe started the festival with a lecture called How to be a Successful Film Maker. It was pretty amazing. We talk about some of the points of that talk. 

We also get into his Flim Lab, which was given a lot of credit by the people who actually took home many awards at the PHW Film Festival. You are going to want to hear this.

Improv Wizards

Actors from all over the world would have come to Playhouse West in North Hollywood, California to work on their acting craft. Since COVID-19 hit, PW has had to adjust, but now, actors can learn from the same instruction from anywhere in the world.  

You no longer have to be in Los Angeles to work on your craft: Playhouse West is now doing online classes!

In this two-part series, we are speaking with some of the Playhouse West teachers about what they are teaching and how anyone can get started. Creativity and art does not stop.

During Covid 19 we have to find new ways of doing things. This includes making movies. Christian just finished directing a movie, that got into a film festival, and won some awards but he filmed it while he was on the opposite coast. What?

Hugh Leon has been nominated 11 years in a row and won 3 times for "The Commercial Agent of the Year' Seymour Heller awards. How did he become an agent? What does he expect from his actors? What should you expect from your agent? How to submit for representation? What can you do during this Covid 19 quarantine downtime to help your career?
