Due to the ongoing crisis with the war between Russia and the country of Ukraine, the countries of the European Union and NATO are becoming united as never before in the history of this organization. Daniel interprets this confederation of ten kingdoms as the Revived Roman Empire.  This will be the predominant power in the last days before the Rapture of the Church and the return of the Lord Jesus Christ. The ongoing rise of lawlessness is just one more sign that the return of Christ is nearer than ever before.

The New World Order is in the process of moving forward, especially since the pullout of troops from Afghanistan and other recent events. The Giant is a programmable statue that is 10-stories tall that can speak and sing and will be placed in 21 cities. In Daniel Chapter 3 we see the beginning of the flow of history with the giant image of Nebuchadnezzar. Scriptures include Daniel 2, 3, 7, 8, 11:31, 12:11; Matthew 24:15; 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18; 2 Thessalonians 2; Revelation 13.

The Bible speaks of seven different judgments beginning with the Cross and ending with the Great White Throne Judgment before the New Heaven and New Earth begins. What happens five minutes after death? Death is the separation of the body from the soul and spirit.  Various terms such as the intermediate state, Sheol, Hades, Paradise, Tartarus, Gehenna, and the lake of fire, are used to describe the intermediate state after death.

The text this Easter Sunday morning is from Mark Chapter Sixteen. The women arrive at the tomb of Jesus only to find that He has already risen. Jesus appears to the disciples and the five hundred eleven times over a period of forty days before ascending to the Father and now sits on the right hand of God as our great high priest and advocate. The Gospels end with various renditions of the Great Commission. We are to take the Gospel to the uttermost parts of the earth until He returns and sets up His everlasting kingdom of righteousness.

Paul tells us in 2 Corinthians 13:5, "Examine yourselves." Many Christians today are not convicted by their lifestyles while living in sin. We each need to stay in the Word of God that we might be able to determine right and wrong. Only as the Holy Spirit operates through the Word can we truly know good and evil.
