On today's show I have Oscar Ortega Jr. He shares with us the suffering he and his family endured through the lost of both his mother and younger brother. He talks about the personal journey of faith that God has guided him through and how he found peace through suffering. This is my conversation with Oscar Ortega Jr.

He shares with us what it has been like for him to walk faithfully even though God doesn't always provide a clear road map. He also shares with us some of the challenges he has faced which God is using to grow him in further spiritual maturity. 

Life can provide us with many different paths but we should seek God's will in all we do. There journey he leads through is full of amazement and wonder.

The best way to lead is by example. Our word are empty if our actions don't back them up. Sometimes are actions don't make sense to others and if we want them to join us in God's work then we have to be able to cast a vision with clarity and be ready to encourage team members along the way. 

The Christian faith is not just about what happens to us in the after-life but what we do in this life, specifically how we love our neighbors.

Rose Pickens of Friends of North Rosenberg sheds light on generational poverty and informs us as to how we can help not by giving a hand out, but a hand up.  

Knowing the purpose God has created you for, allows you to focus all your time and energy for maximum impact for the Kingdom of God. Never get in the way of God's work but be sure to be in His will to do good work.
