Picking up from the tail end of the last installation the season of growth. The growth continues still.

With the weather turning a corner and the sun turning up more in our neighbourhoods, the buds on the trees begin to open and the leaves begin to grow. This is reflective of the artist in this period, but are you appreciating growth? Are you even aware of your own growth? And how do you stimulate growth?

Education is something that is considered to be exclusive to institutions which we pay to enlighten us, but what about the education we receive from life. What about experience and observation? What about each one teaching one?

When attempting to find progress in one's life we find that our faith or belief systems will clash with those of others in most cases this leads to us highlighting our differences and how they divide us. We very rarely find ourselves drawing parallels through our similarities.  In todays reasoning I have author Aklila Kedan and we  discuss his book parallels, his journey in Rastafari and other subjects that effect us today.

When you think about Rastafari, what first comes to mind?

 Weed? Dreadlocks? Bob Marley?

What about poets, writers, journalist and painters?

Rastafari cuvlture has produced some of the most  overlooked and underrated creatives and its a culture that continues to be misunderstood. I had the pleasure to reason with the curator of the Tafari gallery, Jahsiah Kingsley.

How much do you honestly know about politics?

Not much!?! Guess what, me neither !! But the only way to make a change is to learn about the system we live in be it local, national or global politics.

Joining I in the space for the first time is @add_e_abstract from @p0liticallypeak  as we or rather he rounds up the goings on in the political sphere since the beginning of the year.

In the space today I review a reasoning I had with @penicilink as we discuss the advantages and disadvantages the introduction of ipads into the design process.

We speak so often of putting boundaries in place but who are we setting them out for ourselves? or those around us who we feel have invaded our space

How much do we value the importance of rough work in the grand scheme of our projects?

What is rough work and how much does it impact the overall outcome of your creative process?

Progress and frustration go hand in hand with one another because its the slowest process and sometimes the most deceptive process. 

Every step on the road of progression can seem like a baby step on a motorway.

Is this feeling universal?

What is Success? Maybe it's something that extends itself beyond ourselves and into others.

Does our success mean the failure of others? and does the success of others highlight our shortcomings?

How many creative carry  a self illusion of themselves?  This could be to protect themselves from the thoughts of others or in some cases to protect themselves from their self.

Why don't we appreciate those Round us whilst they're still around us?

Why wait until they're  gone to show our appreciation of their presence? 

In this installation I give thanx and praises to those I appreciate 

How does time move for each of us as individuals and as a collective?  

Why does it seem as if some people have all the time in the world, or more so than ourselves?

Is it healthy to ask for inclusion?

Have we become attached to an illusion?

Or 

Is the reality of the situation to hard to face down?

Sharing information is one of the most if not the most important modes of preserving the creative processes we cling to.

So why do we find it so hard to share?  And why do we believe by sharing we somehow inhibit our own progress?

What's a university? 

What if this whole time we were in university and we didn't know it?

What if the information we crave is there to be devoured? 

We're constantly recieving information but what are we doing with it?
