Firstly, we apologise for the delay of the last show of the season! We just wanted to make sure that this finale is as good as it can be! 
We've put a great deal of work into this season's send off so be assured that your patience shall be rewarded!

This season finale is a direct follow on from 'Scars That  Bleed in Time Parts one two and three, and also kind of a practical successor to the  spiritual predecessor, 'Meanwhiles in Time' (2023's Halloween Special). Those who have listened to Scars and also Meanwhiles will get what this refers to. Those who don't, make sure you check all the above episodes to learn more about the Final  story! 😊

It's been one hell of a ride, Listeners. Putting this season together over the last few years has been one of the most stimulating, fulfilling and challenging things that I, that we have ever done. Listening to where the show began and where it is now brings me so much joy. To hear how much it's grown, and  to see the audience numbers grow along with it. Putting into words how much we here at RAE Broadcasting appreciate your support is near impossible. Despite words being my thing, none would do your love justice; so I am... we are, just gonna say a big giant THANK YOU!

We're super excited to be back with another Halloween special this year! Thanks to all those who reached out over the past year and requested another! It really means a lot!  We've got a jam packed episode for you this time around!

Not giving too much away, this episode focuses on three stories, all loosely, (or not so loosely) connected.
Those who have been listening since the beginning will get a real kick out of some of the revelations presented! And, yes, Arthur Hennessey is back! We've had so many people asking when the Outlaw Country Crew... we might actually take to calling them the OCC... were returning. Well, the wait is over, and for those who are gearing up to tune into season 3 next year... I think you guys specifically are in for a bit of a surprise!.. same could be said for the recent influx of Eva Darling fans...

Welcome to another episode of the Tale's End! 
A show that talks about all things relating to books, comics, movies and TV shows! Some relative, some not so relative in both time and space! This month,  we're going to talk about Star Wars : Ahsoka. 

This franchise has been a huge inspiration to the main show on this feed, Vicious Cabaret, and so this is a bit of a deep dive into the Star Wars franchise, my relationship with it and opinions on it, using this new series as a starting point as I believe there is a lot that needs to be said!

We'll be coming back in EARLY OCTOBER to cap off this analysis when Ahsoka finishes airing so stay tuned for that, as there will not be an episode of VC at the end of September. Don't worry, I explain why at the top of the episode but the gist of it is we need a little more time to work on the Halloween special and the season finale in November, so thought I'd put together this rather long review and analysis on the Tale's End to tide y'all over!

This episode also features another Cabaret Q&A! This time around we get a bit more specific on the influences for the actual voices of the characters in the main show! :)

First of all, apologies for the bizarre and irregular upload schedule in recent months. We were supposed to take a hiatus in December and January before returning with the second half of this season, which we did;  but, unfortunately due to unexpected personal circumstances involving bereavements and the changing of living situations and studios, we required further time to reorganise ourselves following the mid season premiere in February, which we are overjoyed to learn was just enough to keep ya'll going while we were off the air. Thank you so much for your lovely comments and reviews for Grandma Grin - Part 3! They  really helped us get through the tough personal times that followed it's release!

Welcome back to the show, Listeners! We are all so excited to present this brand new episode. The first of 2023! 
We follow RedGrin from House's hallowed halls to the planet of Akhatainia; this time accompanied by Jamie Mortima, Robin Marek, Johnny Marek, Lana Marek, Hunter McCarthy and Greyson Wolf in an attempt to obtain the keys to Grandma Grin's survival! 
This story is, of course, the third part of the Grandma Grin story arc. But,  narratively and in terms of event chronology, this story is also a direct follow up to the Mystery Guessed event, featuring the Marek family, that also feature in this episode. 
The mid season finale, "An Epilogue in November", was the conclusion of the SleepDoctor Event. A story set before the events of "Grandma Grin - Part 1".
And so, "Grandma Grin - Part III", is the culmination of all of these aforementioned stories. Even  the not previously mentioned  "Outlaw Country"... but that comes next month! ;) 

In all honesty, this one is a bit of a bit of a slow burn. At least the first half, given the amount of characters present within the story. However, we did also consider that we've  been off for two months, so this is really two episodes in one! Do enjoy, Listeners!
Normal service shall resume next month!

In preparation for the return of season 2, at the end of this month, we thought we'd put together some season 1 highlights for those Listeners who jumped in at season 2! As you'll no doubt hear, there are sections near the beginning that are a little clunky, both narratively speaking and in terms of sound quality. Welcome to the mid season finale, Listeners! The show will be back in February next year, where we shall be returning to stories involving Grandma Grin and the Outlaw Country crew! We're super excited that the show has made it this far and we couldn't do it without your amazing support!

Extra Timeline Details

For all those who are new to the show, perhaps you found us at the beginning of the continuation of the SleepDoctor event, and went back to part 1 to catch up, maybe you're an avid Listner that just wants to know a bit more, or get a few confirmations on the chronology of the VC timeline.  Whatever the case, its no secret that this show's narrative is not necessarily always presented in chronological order. It's a timey-wimey show, so that's only fair!
This certain kind of narrative presentation holds true for the SleepDoctor event especially, given that the events of SleepDoctor (SD) part 1 begins the story (obviously) but elements of part 1, ie, the ending of the story were presented in episode 2 of the series. 
We didn't come back to this story for a while because we wanted to get it right, but we thought it would be cool to set the events in the remaining parts of SD, parts 2 to 5, which were recently released back to back, IN BETWEEN the third and fourth episode of the series: Outlaw Country pt. 1 and Grandma Grin part 1. In a nutshell, the events of SleepDoctor take place in between episodes 3 and 4 of the series. So, if you found us at the latter half of this event then you'll be lopped back around to episode 4. Might give you a unique perspective on the narrative! 
Furthermore,  the stories that follow Grandma Grin pt 2, Mystery Guessed and Future's Fate in Time take place after the SleepDoctor event, narratively speaking, of course. In future, and to be honest, in the past I'll be sure to add in more details about the world of the show in general,  now that it seems to have grown big enough (or convoluted enough?) ;) to justify people requesting more detailed splurges such as this one! 
As always, your present has been initiated, your presence is always appreciated; it hopes to be delineated and never forever eliminated!

A thousand apologies be drippin’ from me.
The Audacity project, so sure in it’s style 
Decided to just make me scream for a while.
Though perpetually lost I have not given in
For the Smiling Pretender to give in is a sin
And so, this time, post contrition in rhyme 
The story itself will be jumping the line. 
The intentions are pure and you know that is the cure 
For the illness that says yes to more stress and less rest.
So, invest your attention, embrace our dimension 
And soon you’ll be ready for perceptions retention.

Due to an insane amount of impromptu technical gremlins this month, the episode originally planned to kick off 2022 (Mystery Guessed Pt I)  will have to be delayed until next month. I'll be honest, the show file became corrupted and it happened yesterday; and given that at least half a week is needed to record and edit an episode of VC, I've had to make the choice to do a shorter episode this time around that was easier to put together in a short space of time so that my Angels have something to tide them over. So do enjoy, "An Odyssey's Epilogue" - a direct follow on from the new years special (An Odyssey's Guise" that was initially supposed to add on to the tale end of the special last month but would have ended up making the show too long. A thousand apologies for the delay of "Mystery Guessed", but this slight disaster has given me the opportunity to put another few weeks of work into the story. Maybe this is all a blessing in disguise!
