    "I deserve this cookie".
    "I worked out yesterday so I don't have to do it today."
    "I lifted weights. They were only 1pounders, but they count."
    "This nightly glass of wine is for my mental health."

    We tell ourselves so many lies and then we forget. So we don't understand WHY we aren't losing the weight, or getting stronger, or why we are still winded when we climb the stairs.

    All these little lies add up.

    Performance and Mindset Coach Leah Jantzen has heard all of the midlife excuses - I can’t. I don’t have time. It costs too much. I don’t know how. I’m too old. And on and on.  She says it's time to put yourself on the hook for a change. Of course you can, change your priorities. Choosing good health doesn't cost anything. Everyone has time. And what is too old? There is no such thing.

    Leah knows that if she can do the things she has done, then so can you. And she has done some amazing things this year. She'll tell us all about those things and how she was successful before delving into how we can do the same things at whatever level we would like to be successful. It's all about mindset, having a desire, making the choice, and then being committed to it.

    Better health is a needed investment in yourself. And what do we call investment in yourself - GOOD SELF-CARE! And that is something we all need.

    It is our last week of the Revive in 5 - 5 minute - ME TIME Challenge! And I want you to take out or come up with an overall SURFACE GOAL that you have for yourself in 2024 and let's start digging into WHY you would like to achieve this thing. 

    You have to know the reasons behind your desire before any movement will be made toward that desire. Anything that you have achieved in your life was driven by a real reason for why you were willing to work toward it. And usually those reasons are so strong that you still know what they are. Think about it.
