    It's everyone's favorite time of year...where cinephiles and above-the-line workers alike sit on their couches and hold their breath as the years most critically acclaimed movies come to a head. Dozens of films watched year-long all lead to this single night, with the question on everyone's mind: Who will take home Best Picture? In anticipation of the big night on Sunday (3/10), Amy and G go through each Oscar category to discuss which movie they "predict" is going to win, versus who they "prefer" to win. Who will take home Best Director? Animated Short? What are the thoughts on Best Cinematography?? You'll have to listen to find out!

Weekly watches include The Talented Mr. Ripley (1999), When A Stranger Calls Back (1993), Enough Said (2013), and the new favorite Have to Have Sex (2023). This is quite an emotional episode, as one would expect! Special shout out to all currently going through heartbreak,  this episode is dedicated to you!

Amy and G discuss the duos more popular movies like Good Time (2017) and Uncut Gems (2019), as well as their classics Daddy Longlegs (2009) and Heaven Knows What (2014). The watches of the week include the horror movie Night Swim (2024) (almost too bad for enjoyment), new  Mean Girls (2024) movie musical, +more!
