We are back in with some hard hitting questions in the celebrity culture of Church is it to preserve their own popularity we came straight out of part one and asking the question where are the Shepherds of the flock we have hired hands, we need shepherds, the scripture is clear regarding self ambition or vein conceit, but humble yourself, do we have a Darwinistic approach in this celebrity Christian world of preachers, where they will say anything manipulation of the scripture to keep the lifestyle they have found themselves in, do we have theatrical performances in the majority of the mega Church and have very clever actors and actresses saying this is Church.

You are joining Ben and Simon in part one as they jump on the mics having an open conversation. Why do these celebrity Christian leaders, preachers and evangelist give us a different gospel and sugarcoat, as believers in Christ we need to know the truth we have too many lies from the political areas of life, the question is why is it because of the celebrity lifestyle, the flowing of finances, is it feeding their flesh?

Let’s just remind ourselves that we have eternal life forever, and the hands of the eternal God, Paul tells us very clearly that nothing can separate us from the love of God you are in the perfect will of the father.

We look at the book of Ephesians chapter 3, verse 20 “God is able to do immeasurable, and so much more than we ask” understanding the power of speech, how the Bible tells us to live by faith and to speak over our lives, to call God down into the arena of all things, how the power of speech influences every situation of life also having the people around us, are they a negative influence, or are they positive so even the power of speech from other people in our life are critical.

Thank you so much for joining us today here at #CST As you join myself Reverend Ben Cooper and Simon Pinchbeck for the title of this podcast is "The God shaped hole", the scripture reference is the Gospel of Luke chapter 15 verse 11 the parable of the lost son, how this son has been given everything from the father with no questions asked and he goes and spends it on wild living and recreational use and when he comes to the point in his life as the scripture says, he came to his senses and made his way back to the father, but the father was already waiting and watching for His son to return.

Our Bible study is within the book of Jeremiah chapter 17, as we look at the human being that completely trusts in the law, die God and cross, completely living by faith, and trusting in the word of God.

Simon and Ben wasn’t expecting to do a part 3, but we’re here, looking at discipleship you gotta follow Jesus discipleship is the key, but what is the Church saying about this, God is calling you to be a disciple to be a follower of Jesus Christ, to be a Bible believing believer stand up for Jesus.

Back in with us to in part 2, as we continue to push in to deep conversation about following Jesus, we look at what the cost is. What does that mean according to the word of God also, we stretch into the word discipleship. There is an order to follow according to the word of God, Jesus has to be first.

Ben and Simon, jump in the arena pushing the boundaries of conversation, looking at 4 areas of a believer, 1 x identity,  2 x authority, 3 x cost, 4 x discipleship - what does all this mean in the world in which we live, seek God with all your heart, get to Jesus Christ. Amazing things will happen.
