Matthew 5:13-16 (CSB)
Christians are called to be salt and light to the world. We possess the ability to bring change and to influence a thirst for God's word. This call extends to how we view and engage with politics and the government. Our mission is rooted in the knowledge that empires and nations come and go, but God's Kingdom reigns forever.

When God made us in His image and breathed the breath of life into our lungs – He designed us to find genuine joy, inner peace, and satisfaction in one place only – and that's with Him. For He is the creator and sustainer of EVERYTHING! 

Proverbs 3:1-12 (CSB)
God is generous to us. He gave his first and best through Jesus. We are called to be generous in our giving, doing so thoughtfully, free and joyfully. This is an act of worship.

1 Corinthians 6:9-17 (CSB)
As we fight against sexual immorality, we are called to remember that Jesus fights for and alongside us. He draws near to us as we draw near to Him, and in Him, there is no condemnation.  You are not your own. You were bought with a price. So, glorify God with your body.

Philippians 2:3 – 11 (CSB)
Humility and service to others are the key to greatness. A leader is a servant. Greatness is not determined by our position of power,  but rather our posture and relationship with Jesus.

Genesis 1:1-5 (CSB)
God worked to create the universe and all that is within it. He is still working to sustain it. His purpose for work has always been for our good and His Glory. We are called to worship the Lord through our work.

Genesis 1:26-28 (CSB)
The world we live in is basically enemy-occupied territory.  Christianity tells the story of the rightful King who came to earth to establish His kingdom and has invited His followers to join Him in advancing this kingdom.

Christ conquered sin, death and Satan. God sent His son on a mission to rescue us and through him we have been liberated. In Him we have also conquered.

God has the power, authority, and position to condemn us for all our sins, yet he graciously sent Jesus Christ, who gave his life as ransom for us. Through Jesus, God's rescue mission not only frees us from condemnation, it gives us eternal life.

Luke 2: 1-20 (CSB)
Part 2 of our Advent Series details how the birth of a baby in a Manger, in a small town called Bethlehem,  is a pivotal moment in God's Rescue Mission. Jesus' birth ushers in God's plan to rescue us from this broken world.
We are called to worship,  praise, and spread the Gospel.

Jesus' perfect life, selfless death, and triumphal resurrection has rescued us from darkness. In part 1 of our Advent series, we are reminded why we need rescuing. God's rescue mission should lead to lives filled with gratitude to Him.

In the final sermon on the Book of Hebrews, we are reminded that the God of peace will equip us with everything good to do his will. We are called to respond by glorifying God through obedience to our Lord Jesus Christ.
