Keilynn set an FKT (Fastest Known Time) while completing a self supported out and back run along the Appalachian Trail. She began at the Pennsylvania border, ran through New Jersey to the New York border and then ran back to the Pennsylvania border, completing roughly 144 miles total.     This week, Gagz and Mary Arnold reminisce about the run that brought them together, how the community based organization Run 4 All Women came to be", and how she plans to "connect communities virtually in an authentic way" with the Womxn Run the Vote Relay. 
     
    Mary is a storyteller, ultrarunner and entrepreneur with over 15 years of experience in sports and fitness marketing in New York City. The founder of Active Brand Consulting, she's worked with large brands including Microsoft, Nike and The North Face and her work has appeared in Runner's World, Huffington Post, Buzzfeed, Shape Magazine and Good Housekeeping among others. 
     
    She's the co-leader of Run 4 All Women, an organization devoted to empowering people through fitness and grassroots activism and in her spare time she's the co-host of the podcast The Earful Runner. To date, Mary has completed 87 running events of a marathon or longer distance and she is greatly looking forward to having an opportunity to crack the 20 hour mark in a 100 miler next year.
