Sprinklez Episode 52: Traitors (PEACOCK); The Great British Baking Show: The Professionals (NETFLIX); The Great British Baking Show: Juniors (NETFLIX); The Diplomat (NETFLIX); TASTY-TREAT-SENSATION: Clearly Canadian

When talking about Netflix's The Diplomat, I mentioned that the star Rufus Sewell starred in the Amazon Prime series "Man in the High Castle." View discretion is highly warranted as it involves intense psychological and physical violence, definitely not for children or viewer with sensitivities.

Rufus Sewell was also in the film Dark City (1998) which can be rented on Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV or YouTube, Vuduand Google Play Movies.

Sprinklez Episode 51: Andor (DISNEY+); The Pale Blue Eye (NETFLIX); Life and Death with Tyler Henry (NETFLIX); Surviving Death (NETFLIX); TASTY-TREAT-SENSATION: EL RANCHERO Spiced Tortillas Chip

    Hey Gang!

We are finally back with a new episode!!!

We have four amazing shows to recommend!

First off is my favorite Star Wars series Andor (DISNEY+) Which is chock full of amazing acting and powerful and very realistic storylines.

Then we talk about THE PALE BLUE EYE, a film out on NETFLIX. A mystery with some horror elements.

Finally we have two otherworldly docuseries about the afterlife. First we have LIFE AND DEATH WITH TYLER HENRY on NETFLIX and then another fascinating series called Surviving Death (NETFLIX) about ghosts, reincarnation and the like.

Our Tasty-Treat-Sensation is the amazing tortilla chip by EL RANCHERO, the spiced flavor.

Tangent: PERSUASION (1995) (RENT OR BUY on AMAZON PRIME or APPLE TV)

Sprinklez Episode 50: The Rings of Power (PRIME VIDEO); Severance (APPLE TV); Only Murders in the Building Season 2 (HULU); Frisch's Big Boy (Restaurant)

Sprinklez Episode 50: The Rings of Power (PRIME VIDEO); Severance (APPLE TV); Only Murders in the Building Season 2 (HULU); Frisch's Big Boy (Restaurant)

    Hey Gang!

The Rings of Power (AMAZON PRIME); A beauifully diverse cast leads an adventurous story line set in stunningly beautiful locals. This one is a breathtaking thing of beauty.  It is a prequel to the Lord of the Rings trilogy, and in every way fits right into that legacy, which is saying a lot from a big ole nerd like me.

Next we have Severance (APPLE TV); this one is so mysterious and thrilling, but is slow paced which can be a turn off to some, but hang in there! Christoper Walken's performance is sooo good! And KUDOS to Patricia Arquette.

But wait there's more, Only Murders in the Building  is back with Season 2 (HULU) and is just as wonderful as Season 1! Selena Gomez, Steve Martin and Martin Short are incredible! Watch for a couple of famous cameos. The last episode made me laugh so hard. Enjoy!

The Tasty-Treat-Sensation is Frisch's Big Boy Restaurants! They put Cherry syrup in their cherry coke!! They have incredible onion rings and put tartar sauce on their hamburgers! Need I say more???

Hey gang! It's the 49th episode of Sprinklez!

Today we have three HBO shows you are sure to love!!

First off my brother recommended,  Station Eleven (HBO Max) which is a show about a pandemic (no not this pandemic) and surpise: iit doesn't have any zombies!! It is such a beautiful, impactful, at times it is a Shakespearean tragedy you shouldn't allow yourself to miss!

Secondly, I heard a review of HBO's Somebody Somewhere, on NPR and started watching it and immediately fell in love with this dramedy (I hate that word). It is funny but oh so real. You will laugh-out-loud and cry at the same time.

Downton Abby fans rejoice with Julian Fellowes new work: The Gilded Age (HBO MAX). Glamorous and soapy, what's not to love?!

This week's tasty-treat-sensation is the new Coca-Cola with Coffee, its addictive and delicious but not overly caffeinated, try the Vanilla flavored one!

Today I review the HBO MAX originals: Mare of Easttown (Starring Kate Winslet and Jean Smart), and The Bridge (British reality show, à la Survivor, with fun reality drama while actually building a bridge). I also give a guilty pleasure shout out to Shipwrecked (à la pretty people survivor) on HULU and Singletown (Young, pretty, British-couple reality drama) in HBO MAX.

    Howdy gang!

In today's episode we have two incredible streaming show recommendations.

Be prepared for NETFLIX's latest psychological thriller, Behind Her Eyes. Which stars Bono's daughter Eve Hewson in a mysterious thriller that will keep you on your toes! (Adult content, sexual scenes, partial nudity, substance use and violence).

Then we talk about DISNEY's incredible, WandaVision. Yes, it is a show about superheroes, but don't let that scare you away. It is one of the more original shows I have seen in a long time. The first three episodes will leave you confused but hang in there! Staring Elizabeth Olsen, Kat Dennings and Kathryn Hahn. (Comic book style violence)

Our Tasty-Treat-Sensation is Entenmann's Party Mini Rich Frosted Donuts which are as delectable as they sound.

    ENJOY!

Howdy gang! Today is a musical themed episode!

First, I recommend The amazing series Encorce (DISNEY +) This is an incredibly heart-warming, endearing show, where they bring back the cast of various high school musicals across the country. They had high school submit plays they performed at some point in the past 30 years, and the cast of those productions get back together to put on the same play all these years later. A scream and such fun. Tear jerking reunions and life changing healing events occur in nearly every episode. It's a true winner.

Then the new holiday musical classic, Jingle Jangle (NETFLIX).With an amazing cast (Phylicia Rashad, Forest Whitaker, Keegan-Michael Key, Lisa Davina Phillip). Cute story mixed with catchy tunes and you have a family holiday classic waiting for you!

Hey gang! It's the 40th episode of Sprinklez!!!

In this episode I recommend two Netflix originals.

First up is the fascinating "Indian Matchmaking." I found myself binging this in the course of a week. A reality matchmaking show that is light, interesting and fun!

Secondly I have found a temporary fix for those of you who have a long wait for QUEER EYE Season 6, its by some of the makers of QUEER EYE, and it's called SAY I DO.  It's a reality series where each episode (there are 8 in this season) a couple gets engaged (its a surprise for one of the partners) and married in the course of just a few days. The three hosts, all three fabulous gay men, each help pull off these incredible weddings. Tear and laughs ensue!

This episode's Tasty-Treat-Sensation is BARE's fruit chips! Simple ingredients (no added anything) just dried fruit. Delicious and surprisingly nutritious!

Tangent recommendation: Netflix original: Dark, Season 3 is amazing and complex! This is the third and final season. Treasure it!

Sprinklez Episode 39: We're Here. (HBO, HBO MAX);Self-Care-Sensation: Everything from Bath & Body Works

    Howdy Sprinklerz! Today

HBO has a winner on its hands with "WE'RE HERE". It stars three amazing Drag Queens: Shangela (D.J. "Shangela" Pierce), Eureka (David Huggard) and Bob the Drag Queen (Caldwell Tidicue). Each episode has them bringing their over-the-top selves to tiny American town to bring humor and healing!

No-Tasty-Treat-Sensation today but I do go on and on about just how wonderful Bath & Body Works summer line of everything is!

    Enjoy!

     Tangents:

    • Big Little Lies (HBO, HBO MAX) Recommended it before and I do it again. Reese Witherspoon, Nicole Kidman, Zoë Kravitz, Laura Dern, Meryl Streep. WARNING: This show is full of Trauma Triggers including; violence (sexual & domestic).
    • True Detective (HBO, HBO MAX) I haven't seen it yet- so I suspect this has a lot of violence in it and maybe other cautionary material.

Sprinklez Episode 38: Motherland: Fort Salem (FREEFORM, HULU, ROKU); Tasty-Treat-Sensation: Cheetos (Frito-Lay)

    Howdy Sprinklerz!

Today I am recommending a new and incredible show that is full of female power, terrific backstories/mythology and fantastic actresses! It's Motherland: Fort Salem. (Not to be confused with another show called, Salem) it is on Freeform, Hulu and Roku. It is for adults only due to brief but intense violence, and strong sexual themes.

I have put together an omaĝe to 80's Soap Operas (Loved me some Santa Barbara!) which I hope you enjoy!

And finally our Tasty-Treat-Sensation is the classically delicious Frito-Lay, Cheetos! (Need I say more?)

Hello my dear listeners! I hope you all are staying safe and well! Wanted to put out a show of some fun recommendations to hopefully bring some extra joy into your lives right now.

First I recommend the fabulous Prime Original, MAKING THE CUT, staring Tim Gunn and Heidi Klum

Then I recommend another design show, Netflix Original, NEXT IN FASHION, staring Tan France (Queer Eye) and Alexa Chung!

Then i let you in on a guilty-pleasure of a reality show, Netflix Original, LOVE IS BLIND! Which is bad but so addictive in all the right/wrong ways!

Then I have a cadre of fabulous Tasty-Treat-Sensations!!!

Please stay safe, social distance and remember we will get through this!

Sprinklez Episode 35: Big Little Lies (HBO); Pose (FX, NETFLIX); Popeye's New Fried Chicken Sandwich

Sprinklez Episode 35: Big Little Lies (HBO); Pose (FX, NETFLIX); Popeye's New Fried Chicken Sandwich

Hey Sprinklers! We are back from a bit of a break, with a show chock-full great streaming recommendations as well as a Tasty-Treat-Sensation that will blow your socks off!

HBO's BIG LITTLE LIES is just breathtaking! It tackles some very serious and intense issues all the while keeping you in suspense and wanting more! The cast is full of Hollywood powerhouses, Reese Witherspoon, Laura Dern, Meryll Streep, Nicole Kidman, and Zoë Kravitz who are all incredible. This is strictly a show for adults as it contains depictions of violence and nudity. (What HBO doesn't have violence and nudity?) It's very powerful and really one of the best shows I have seen in a long time.

Then I rave on about FX's Pose! Season 1 is on NETFLIX, season 2 has already aired on FX and will apparently coming to NETFLIX sometime this year. The largest cast of Transgender actresses of any show to date. The cast is spectacular! Billy Porter is a scream and such a talent! India Moore is stunning. MJ Rodriguez will steal your heart! And Dominique Jackson is a modern day Joan Collins! Centered around late 1980s New York in the Ball scene which inspired one of Madonna's most famous songs Vogue. Contestants (many of whom were members of the LGBT community) walked runways to compete for trophies. The various themes were fascinating! The houses which is what they called various teams where often literally a collection of people who would live in one house under a "Mother" who would over see the house. Often these were cast-outs who were abandoned by their families because of them being LGBT. The series is set admit the AIDS epidemic. (See the fabulous and heartbreaking documentary, PARIS IS BURNING on NETFLIX to see what POSE is centered on). Pose will want you coming back for more. I recommended this to all my friends who were all so angry when they finished season 1 and realized season 2 is still not on NETFLIX yet. This is also an adults only show.

For our Tasty-Treat-Sensation we have Popeye's New Fried Chicken Sandwich. It is incredible! Ever since I had it I have been craving it more and more! Let me recommend you get the fries and the coleslaw! You will not be mad ;)

Sprinklez Episode 34: THE GOOD PLACE (NBC, HULU); THE MANDALORIAN (DISNEY +); Tasty-Treat-Sensation: Lolli & Pops

Sprinklez Episode 34: THE GOOD PLACE (NBC, HULU); THE MANDALORIAN (DISNEY +); Tasty-Treat-Sensation: Lolli & Pops

Hey Gang! Sorry for the delay, after a family emergency we are back to the business of making sure your streaming cue (or is it que?) runneth over!!! Two we have two incredible show recommendations!!

The first is NBC'S: THE GOOD PLACE! It is in its fourth and final season currently airing on NBC and HULU, you can watch the first three seasons on NETFLIX. It stars Kristen Bell (Veronica Mars), Ted Danson (Cheers), and D'Arcy Carden (Barry). It's so wonderful, funny, smart and surprisingly touching!!

Then I recommend a new Disney + show. I know, yet one more streaming service to get, but it's totally worth it for this show: THE MANDALORIAN. It's one of the best Star Wars creations since the film Rogue One. It's action packed, cool, at times funny and at times cuter than an Ewok! ("How is that even possible?" you ask. Watch and see!) Watch it before you get spoilers via memes on Facebook and Instagram!!

And finally, I take you on a metaphorical walk through the enchanted candy shop "Lolli & Pops." Might I recommend the Peanut Butter and Jelly candy bar? Oh yes, I shall!

    Enjoy the show :)
