In this episode of Studio 22, Brock and Will sit down with legendary Actor and Producer, Frank Grillo. Frank has been active in Hollywood for over 30 years. Some of his best-known roles include playing Brock Rumlow AKA Crossbones in the Marvel Comic Universe, Diaz in the Grey and Roy Pulver in Boss Level.

Franks new film, Lights Out is available to watch in theaters or on streaming February 16th, 2024. 

In this episode, the boys dive deep into Franks career from the start. Frank remembers the time he almost landed a huge role in the show Friends by complete accident. He shares how he got his start by acting in soap operas, long before he was the action star we know him as today. 

Frank details his process in preparing for some of his most iconic roles. He always looks for the best teacher to prepare him for each role, whether it be MMA training for his film, Warrior or an accent coach for Lamborghini. 

Later, Frank shares stories from behind the scenes of the Marvel Comic Universe. He remembers working with Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth and the rest of the Marvel Avengers cast and crew. He shares how he was able to make Crossbones a memorable character in the franchise even though it was supposed to be small role. 

As one of the few Hollywood actors with notable screen time in both the Marvel and DC Universes, Frank is in a class of his own. He reveals the differences behind the scenes between the two franchises and shares his favorite parts about working with both.

This week, the boys sit down with the creators of Ex Posse, Sean E DeMott and Lorenzo Antonucci. Sean E is a multi-talented Producer and Musician whose film credits include the Devil's Carnival, American Satan and most recently, Trim Season. Lorenzo is an Actor, Producer, Director and Musician who has worked on HBO's Ballers and Paradise City, to name just a few. Together, Sean-E and Lorenzo have partnered to create several films and most recently a comic book series, called Ex-Posse.

In this episode, Lorenzo and Sean discuss how they first met, working at a music festival called Tattoo the Earth. Both had roots in the heavy metal music scene and became fast friends. They later talk about how their friendship would become a business partnership as they created the Ex Posse organization, which would hold the IP for many of their future projects. Some of their titles include, Night of the Cadillacs and Lipstick Cliqa. Sean E and Lorenzo share the inspiration and stories behind each of their comic book series. 

Brock and Will dive deep into Sean and Lorenzo's endeavors building their company. They provide many tips for aspiring creatives who look to make a difference through storytelling. This week, Brock and Will sit down with Kez Reed, a former Division 1 baseball player, and entrepreneur. Kez is the founder of the Reed Company, Inc. which specializes in providing guidance to professional athletes on contracts, brand deals, and other ways to grow their careers. He also teamed up with NBA star, JaVale McGee to form Juglife, a foundation dedicated to spreading awareness about the importance of drinking water.

In this episode, Brock and Will begin by asking Kez about Juglife. Kez shares the story of how it all started from a twitter trend, to now being a global organization which provides clean drinking water to underserved communities to all corners of the world. Today, Juglife has built several wells at schools in Africa, bringing fresh water to dozens of communities. Kez looks to the future in which they plan to build an athletics facility to serve those same communities.

Later, Kez discusses his business at the Reed Company, Inc. He provides insight on the global sports industry and how he's able to guide athletes to further expand their careers, both on and off the court. Kez mainly focuses on basketball, namely the NBA. With NBA tip off aligning with the launch of the episode, Kez describes the challenges of his "hell week" which include players going to new teams, new brand deals, and new markets.

This week, Will and Brock sit down with New Brew founder, and childhood friend of Will's, Justin Wolf. 

In this episode, Will and Justin reflect on some of their favorite childhood memories, which date back to their elementary school days. They look back on their days of playing sports, starting a band and even their first childhood crush! Flash forward to the University of Southern California, where Will and Justin attended college together.

Justin opens up about his struggles with alcohol and his decision to leave it behind, which would lead to him founding New Brew. The Euphoric Seltzer is meant to be a non-alcoholic alternative for those who want to experience a change of consciousness without the drag of a hangover. Justin shares how traveling with his wife led him to a kava bar, which would eventually lead him to creating the formula for New Brew.

This episode is a great flashback to childhood for Will and Justin. It is also a great resource for aspiring entrepreneurs interested in bringing a new product to market, as Justin has experience both with the company Drip Drop, and New Brew.

This week, Brock and Will sit down with Luck, an up-and-coming singer/songwriter and recording artist from Virginia/Connecticut. She is also a fashion designer with her own Jewelry line called FOP. Luck's music is a unique blend of R&B, Hip Hop, Rock and Soul.

In this episode, the boys dive deep into the early life of Luck and what inspired her to become a recording artist. Luck reflects on her childhood, when she travel with her family to New York City to perform at various open mics. It was then that the spark which would lead to her music career was ignited. She shares how the various influences in her life would shape the unique sound that fans hear today. 

Luck provides invaluable insight for any aspiring artist. "Focus on Identity," she claims as her number one piece of advice for new artists trying to break in the industry. Brock and Luck go deep in talking about vulnerability, and how embracing those parts of yourself can make you into a much better artist. 

Later, Luck discusses her jewelry line, FOP (For Our People For Other People), which was born out of her own unique style. She says that all of the jewelry that was available in stores didn't resonate with her, so she decided to make her own.
