    Cool Treats For Dogs:

    Cool Treats For Dogs:
Cool Treats for Dogs: The Bear & The Rat:
Liz talks with husband-wife team Meg & Matt Meyer PLUS their chatty dogs The Rat and Barley about their frozen yogurt dog treats. And boy do the dogs have a lot to say!

First off, gut health for dogs doesn't have to be complicated (or boring)! Both dogs agree that Cool Treats for Dogs line of frozen yogurt dog treats is great not just because they support normal digestion that is sometimes upset by food change, travel, stress, separation or the usual aging process. They just think they're eating the world's most fun & delicious treat. With flavors such as Bacon & Peanut Butter, Banana Peanut Butter, and Goat Milk Yogurt with Coconut, it's cool to give your dog a cone! Listen as Meg and Matt's dogs give tips on how to use the treats as well!

Every serving has Optagest (prebiotics + digestive enzymes) by In Clover Research, helping grow native bacteria for healthy stools, less gas, plus digestive enzymes helping absorb food better.

Founded in 2010, Cool Treats are available nationally in Whole Foods, grocery stores & pet stores in the ice cream aisle. For more visit: www.cooltreatsfordogs.com or Instagram @thebearandtherat.

    Scrappy the Service Dog

    Scrappy the Service Dog

Animal Communicator Liz Murdoch chats with a German Shepherd about what he wants people to know about service work. Liz also chats with handler Rachel Little who always thought it would be fun to train a service dog. When her dogs Luna & Remus had a liter, Scrappy stood out and she decided to keep him and explore service dog training with Michael’s Angel Paws owned by Stephanie Gerken.

Scrappy has been training for mobility, PTSD, and navigating public access and exposure. He’s also worked on training for retrieval, pushing handicap door buttons, and laying on laps for calming.

Transition with a veteran is a slow process. Little by little Scrappy is spending more time with his veteran as the veteran learns how to be a handler and Scrappy will continue training for some time after he is permanently with his veteran.

Rachel also shares her insights developing a better service dog leash, launching DogFace Pet Gear, currently sold on Amazon, and developing new products based on what service dog owners truly need. Listen as she and Liz discuss this falling into place because Rachel paid attention to the behavior of a young puppy who showed signs of training responsiveness and eagerness to connect.

Talking dogs with Dog Trainer Irith Bloom

In Liz Murdoch's sessions as a dog communicator, it frequently comes up in conversations with the dogs that many do want to go back to dog school and some have even asked for help learning how to walk on a leash, or at least get better at getting along with other people or dogs.

In conversation with professional dog trainer Irith Bloom of The Sophisticated Dog, Liz and Irith discuss basics and benefits of online private dog training and why dog training can be a special event for a dog.
