Nick May | Pro Painter Network
Title: Nick May | Pro Painter Network
In 1999 Nick May started a painting business, Walls by Design, and over the years he has worked with a lot of interior designers. Many of them have been good designers, but often time, their business skills were a bit lacking. In 2013, Nick started a series of live events in Denver with a handful of companies to educated designers on the business of interior design. They would host lunch and learns and bring in a speaker. His hope was to help them grow their businesses and in turn, they might use Walls by Design for their painting needs.
In 2014, Nick married this idea with another passion of mine...podcasting. He launched ‘The Chaise Lounge Podcast’ with the hopes to expand his impact on the interior design community nationally. Little did Nick know that they would soon be downloaded and listened to in over 100 countries and become one of the top interior design podcasts on iTunes.
In 2016, he was asked to start covering markets and live events for interior designers… The Chaise Lounge hit the road! This has to lead to increased exposure and network into the larger interior design community, and he has now interviewed some of the biggest names in interior design.
