Mark and his son Ryan have lived a life of breaking the mold and leaping with complete faith. When Ryan was diagnosed with MPS 1, Mark and his wife were told that Ryan would only live to the age of 10-15 years of age.  After hearing that devastating news, Mark and his wife spent the next few weeks on the floor crying next to Ryans Crib. Then Mark got off that floor and into the library to learn more about Ryan's disease. He is a dad of 2 beautiful children Kennedy and Lincoln who have a rare disease called MPS 1 Hurler Syndrome. Kennedy and Lincoln had to undergo bone marrow transplants at an early age as a treatment for their disease. Through their treatment at Cincinnati Children's Ryan spent time with other dads. Ryan says "Through the fellowship time with other dads, helped me become a better dad, husband, and man". Ryan and his wife Allie are on a mission to find a cure for their kids disease.
