We're back by popular demand in the time of Covid. And yes, we have a LOT to talk about. Luckily, my guest for this episode is not only the warm up comic for the Ellen Degeneres Show, the creator of the parenting site, Life of Dad, but has a new book entitled "Mom vs Dad" that he co-wrote with his wife, Lucy. Tommy Riles has taken every possible fight you can have with a spouse and broken it down to a play-by-play format. Because of the Coronavirus, we weren't able to record this week, so we're sharing a throwback episode of Father Time with Bert Kreischer. He's one of the biggest comics on earth, yes, the guy with the Russian Mob story. But his back story is insane. He talks about his early days and his beginnings in comedy. It's phenomenal. My apologies for it being a little "blue". I'm rating it explicit but Father Time was way raunchier. I'm not bleeping it. Give it a listen and definitely check out his new special on Netflix. Carlos Alazraqui (Reno: 911) and Vince Donvito (CSI:NY) talk about their new film, Witness Infection, but really start to get loose as we break out a bottle of Bunnahabhain Scotch. We discuss teaching karate to kids, meltdowns, Coronavirus, right vs. left, Big Tuesday, and Carlos's numerous voices in his head. See if you can tell at what moment I get drunk. It's pretty obvious. This is the first podcast we've recorded at night and honestly, I think this is our new model. 

Here at The DadLands, we have a bone to pick with these romantic movies that end with two people who have magically fallen in love by the end. We're supposed to believe that they go on to have a wonderful life together when in reality we know that's when it gets really hard. Take the movie Cocktail. We did. My panel of esteemed funnymen (Michael Bunin, Patrick Keane, and Scott Feldman) break down just how ridiculous it is to think that a bar owner in Manhattan (Tom Cruise) and an artist (Elisabeth Shue) have twins in New York and survive marriage. We give a more honest take on how this story ends. Cocaine Addiction, Affairs, Resentment... it ends horribly. And hilariously funny. Enjoy our next take on parenthood with this innovative concept show.

Kristin Hensley and Jen Smedley, aka IMomSoHard, have become one of the biggest comedy acts in the country playing to sold out theatres nationwide. Their special, #imosohard Live, is playing on Amazon Prime and their best selling book #imomsohard is on the New York Times Best Sellers List. They were gracious enough to come over and discuss the fine art of parenting. The topics are too many to list, but there's a reason for their meteoric rise in the comedy world. They are hilarious. They also side with my wife on every subject ever!

World Famous Comedian, Jo Koy, has been selling out arenas recently after the international success of his numerous Netflix specials, "Comin' in Hot", "Live From Seattle", and the upcoming "Live from The Philippines". He is hilarious and a great dad. We talk about girl scout cookies, eating vegetables, being color blind, and everything else about raising kids. Jo also goes into depth about his Mom, who has become one of the biggest parts of his stand up act for "Josep". It's also pretty amazing to hear what it's like to sell out arenas as a comedian. He's a great guy for coming by to chat and for buying all of my kid's girl scout cookies. Enjoy!

Lester and Steve join me for a little cross pollination podcast where  we combine the parenting power of both podcasts to discuss all things "Dadding". And they are hilarious. From their compound out in the high desert of Acton, California, I joined Lester and Steve for an amazing chat about raising kids. We talk being veterans, having too many children (Steve had a fourth because he doesn't like odd numbers), getting your kids to perform menial jobs, and why you need a safe now. We also talk about having to work on the road and the inherent guilt leaving your wife home to watch the kids. Topics include the Facts of Life, Moms walking around naked in front of the kids, the proper way to dole out allowance, the entrepreneurial side of kids, when your kid craps on you... on a plane, and when to use the dreaded "Poop Knife". National Headlining Comic, Brian McDaniel, from the hit show TMZ tells the tale of having a child of your own AND adopting another. It's an amazing story. If you're even thinking about adopting (which you should), this is a must listen. Brian is one of the nicest guys in town and stops by to talk Legoland, stand up comedy, the Bat mobile, USC film school, and the insanity behind the scenes of TMZ. Oh, and mostly about raising two kids in these crazy times.  The DadLands
