    On this episode we chat to Lorenza who's daughter Eliza was diagnosed with Charge Syndrome. Her diagnosis meant that Lorenza would have to navigate a new and unknown world of disability, including learning Signlanguage to enable her to speak with her daughter. Their story is full of triumph and positivity through all the tough things they have gone through, including Lorenza now teaching Singlanguage and having a free app for people to learn.

    Catherine felt it was necessary to share her experience of being told her first born child was deaf. With no experience of ever being around a deaf person and no one in the family it was a new learning experience for her and her husband, but one she has loved and is proud of how far they have come. 
    She's learnt all about cochlea implants and how her son needs more sensory stimulation, but also how important it is for her and her family to learn to sign, to help her son when there are times he cant hear.
