We start this episode right where we left off in the last episode and share our thoughts on the loss of Kobe Bryant. Our hearts are heavy as fans of the NBA, but moreover as fathers we think about the loss of a Fatherhood role model. 

Condolences to Bryant family and all the other families affected by this tragedy. 

Our host Kurtis Cameron sits down with a good friend a fellow #boydad Shawn Burks. In this the first of a two part episode, they guys discuss some of Shawns early memories. He shares the idea of his boys growing up and starting to develop there own personalities. With sons that are almost in the double digit years, he recognizes that now he is talking to young men and is learning more about himself along the way. 

One of the highlights of this episode is our conversation around black fathers showing their sons affection and showing a positive example of love in the home. 

The next part of this episode kicks off with our thoughts on the sudden loss of NBA Legend, Kobe Bryant. Stay tuned for Episode 11.
