Episode 93: Say "Yes" To Adventure

Episode 93: Say "Yes" To Adventure

In this solo episode, I share my current travel experiences in Sumbawa, Indonesia. It has been such an epic experience so far, being able to say "yes" to adventure. I've been learning to trust myself more, to pour my trust into others, and to learn how to go with the flow instead of how we think life should go. If there is anything trip has shown me so far, it's that life does not always go the way we expect it to and to follow the flow with what feels most in alignment. Intuition is a beautiful navigator and we need to listen to our gut instinct when listening to our intuition.

Episode 90: Intimacy and Relationships for A Better Sex Life with Dr. Luz Maria Villanueva

Episode 90: Intimacy and Relationships for A Better Sex Life with Dr. Luz Maria Villanueva

In this interview episode, I had the chance to sit down with Dr. Luz Maria Villanueva to talk about all things connection, love, and intimacy. Dr. Luz is a life, sex, and intimacy coach, psychologist, sex educator, keynote speaker, and fellow retreat host. She is currently in training to be a  tantra sexologist. People who practice Buddhist and Hindu meditation may also practice tantric sex as a way to “weave” the physical with the spiritual.

It was eye-opening to learn about connection and communication as a way to enhance our intimacy levels with ourselves and with our partners. The importance of giving one another a safe space to be fully intimate and the need for building trust in a relationship with both ourselves and with others. Dr. Luz will be releasing her book, "Let's Talk Sex & Money," here in the next couple of weeks. So be sure to get your hands on this if you are looking to better yourself in both intimacy and finances. If you are looking to dive deeper into these practices and rediscover your power, beauty, and freedom, Dr. Luz will also be leading a "Discover The Goddess" retreat in Costa Rica this July.

Episode 88: Love Is Our Greatest Motivator

In this solo episode, I share my expression of love for self and love for others around me in celebration of Valentine's Day while in Bali, Indonesia.

Rather than using negative reinforcement to motivate someone (possibly through the form of fear or punishment), lead with example in the form of love and positive reinforcement. Wishing you all a great day spent with loved ones and in loving yourself.  ♥️

Episode 84: Gratitude First and Foremost

Episode 84: Gratitude First and Foremost

In this solo episode, I share my current adventures in Thailand and the new levels of awareness brought to my attention. I was asked by my friend, Gaby, "What have you learned so far on this trip that you find to be most interesting?" My immediate thought after thanking her for asking, was that I somehow almost always start in a place of gratitude with my thoughts, especially in stressful situations. After a rough day of traveling, we couldn't help but laugh at ourselves and the experience overall. It was beautiful for us to to come to that place of gratitude, even in asking the question alone. It's what keeps me calm, what generates new good vibes, and allows us to be able to bring more growth into lessons learned, rather than resistance.

Stay tuned as we sit down in the next episode together to talk about our time together in Thailand so far, for those interested in visiting the country. Where to visit, what to see, what to do, things to avoid, amazing memories, lessons learned, Instagram vs. Reality moments, and all the funny bloopers in between.

Episode 83: Dedication Behind Bikini Prep with Allison Campbell

Episode 83: Dedication Behind Bikini Prep with Allison Campbell

In this interview episode, I sat down with my client, Allison Campbell. She is an NPC bikini competitor in the post show season of bodybuilding who wanted to go on prep for her first bikini show with her mental health on the forefront. We went into the details of her physical transformation and dedication it took for her to drop down to a whopping 6.9% body fat (something I had never seen be done before with another female client of mine) while still eating relatively flexible and keeping her mental health a priority! Also learning to appreciate the process more than the destination. That is what makes the craft itself feel so prideful and empowering, being able to show ourselves we can do the hard things and have more integrity over our self-discipline.

Tune in as we share our experiences both in and out of prep season and what it takes to actually build a physique that is sustainable and progressive, the challenges that we overcame, the success of our dedication to the craft, and the itch that will continue to live on in our hearts as true competitors to get back on stage and do it all over again.

Episode 82: Courage Comes Before Confidence

Episode 82: Courage Comes Before Confidence

In this solo episode I share my recent epiphanies as I am getting ready to embark on a 3 month back packing trip around  Southeast Asia and South Pacific. I find it relevant to share how this adventure relates to the mentorship program I am currently leading, as well as the volunteer projects I continue to take part in over the past seven years with Bajabound Builds and  Greatness Ventures, as a way to build confidence by first establishing courage and competency.

I’m excited to step up my game and show up at a higher level in efforts to do more outside of my comfort zone and lead the way for others through my efforts of courage and competency. Confidence is fine tuned and shaped through these two components, literally paving a path of success for others to follow in similar footsteps with more speed, refinement, and ease.

I challenge you to go out in this world and do something new that both scares and excites you. Connect yourself with other through a higher purpose. Live with a mission to serve and build confidence by first doing something courageous.

Episode 80: The Momentum Is You

Episode 80: The Momentum Is You

In this solo episode, I teach you how to get unstuck in your thought process by asking deeper questions. I explain my therapeutic process of journey work and metaphorically creating space for new light to come in, as well as creating boxes that I can seal and give back energy that does not resonate within.

I share the importance of moving the mountains within you, and that you are responsible for creating your own life through the continued repetitions and effort as you create your own momentum. Confidence is already within us. we need to change our narrative from the stories we told ourselves based on the opinions of others that may have hindered that natural born confidence. Get out of your own way and move with momentum!
