It's no secret that homelessness is an epidemic that is plaguing not only my hometown of Washington, DC, but every city across America.  Once you throw mental illness into the mix, its a recipe for an even larger problem.

This week, Talibah Thomas, author of "Melanin Is...A Coloring Book For All Shades of Black and Brown", stops by the podcast! We talk about what was her inspiration behind coloring "outside of the lines" and creating a coloring book and what she wants this book to bring to black and brown families.
