Following a successful prep career, Natasha attended the University of South Carolina, where she majored in Exercise Science. As a scholar athlete at USC, Natasha won both the 400 meters Indoor and Outdoor NCAA Championships her junior year, setting collegiate records in the process. Natasha finished her junior year undefeated in her competitions.

After turning pro in 2007, Natasha made her first USA Olympic Track and Field team in 2008, as a member of the Gold medal winning 4x400 meters relay team. Additionally, Natasha has made every USA World Championship team since becoming a professional sprinter. In 2007, 2009 and 2011, Natasha won the Gold medal as a member of the 4x400 meter relay team.

Not one to shy away from the Indoor season, Natasha won the 400 meters USA Indoor Track & Field Championship in 2011 and finished second in 2012. She went on to win the Bronze Medal in the 400 meters at the IAAF World Indoor Championships in Sopot, Poland. In addition to winning the 4x400 meter relay Gold at the 2013 World Championship, Natasha finished fifth in the 400 meter final.

Justin Forsett, NFL Running Back & CEO - Will You Be Ready When The Opportunity Comes? - 030

Justin Forsett, NFL Running Back & CEO - Will You Be Ready When The Opportunity Comes? - 030

"Your best ability is your availability."

    Being Prepared For Your Opportunity

Undersized and overmatched, at 5'8" Justin Forsett had plenty of reasons to give up on becoming a full-time NFL starter. It wasn't until 2014 at age 29 that Forsett "came out of nowhere" and proved them all wrong.

Forsett spent parts of four seasons (2008-11) with Seattle and the 2012 season with the Texans. He played in nine games for the Jaguars in 2013 before injuring his foot, forcing him to miss the remainder of the season. Forsett spent more than two seasons with the Ravens, including one Pro Bowl year in which he took the league by storm in 2014.  He was named to the Pro Bowl in 2015 following his most successful season in the NFL, and ranked #65 on the NFL's Top 100 Players of 2015.

After breaking his arm midway through the 2105 season, recovering, and playing just nine more games with the Ravens, the Detroit Lions, and the Denver Broncos, Forsett announced his retirement from the NFL on May 3, 2017.

Justin, however, will be defined by much more than his stats.  Justin was a cherished fan favorite and big part of the community. He spent much of his time spreading advice and encouragement to his teammates and anyone he worked with. A Christian man of integrity, he was extremely active in volunteering to help those in need, the Baltimore community in particular, who embraced him back.

When speaking to audiences, Justin has a genuine desire to positively impact others with his message of perseverance through life’s disappointments. His witty and down-to-earth personality engages audiences from corporate environments to youth groups as he shares his inspirational journey of hope, focus, determination, and the importance of legacy.

Justin is now the CEO of Shower Pill the active care wipe for every body that you can now find at Target!

Anna Willard, Professional Runner & Coach - What It Takes To Be Great At Multiple Things - 027

Anna Willard, Professional Runner & Coach - What It Takes To Be Great At Multiple Things - 027

    "Work smarter not harder."

    Being Great At Multiple Things

Raised in rural Greenwood, Maine (population 802), where “people thought I was nuts running all the time,” Anna was state high school champion in cross country and track. She was also a shooting guard on the basketball team, good enough to be recruited by a couple of Division III colleges. Track was her first love, though (“Plus I’m 5-3, what am I going to do in basketball?”) so it was off to Brown University to run track. A 2006 Brown graduate with a degree in environmental studies, Anna ran her first steeplechase as a junior, filling in for an injured teammate on just two weeks of training. She broke the school record in her first race. By the time she was finished at Brown, Anna would hold 10 school records and was named 2006 All-Ivy First Team in athletics.

It was in her final outdoor season of eligibility, which she used at the University of Michigan while earn- ing a master’s degree in sports management, that Anna really came into her own. The new Wolver-ine broke the collegiate record in the steeplechase on her way to winning the 2007 NCAA title. Anna was named Big Ten Track Athlete of the Year after winning titles in the steeple, 1500m and 5000m and the top female performer at the Penn Relays for her contribution to NCAA records in the 4x800m and 4x1500m relays. Anna was also honored at Michigan’s 2006-2007 Female Athlete of the Year.

In 2008, Anna won the US Olympic Trials in a then-American Record time of 9:27.59. In 2009, Anna was undefeated over 800m and ended the year as the third fastest American ever over 1500m. By the end of the season, Anna had earned world rankings in three different events.

In this episode, Nick talks with Anna about making their first world championship team, transitioning from athlete to coach and being great at multiple things.

Learn all about Anna and what's next for her.
