Anxiety is a much more complex issue than most of us give it credit for. It's not just "bad behavior" that we need to "train out" of our dogs. 

Yes, there is quite a bit of science behind a positive reinforcement and slow desensitization strategy for training dogs with separation anxiety . . . . 

BUT there are also physiological aspects of anxiety that we can not ignore.

Most pet parents I speak with are still asking me about grain-free dog food and DCM. It's been years and the FDA closed its investigation in December 2022 with no results. 

If I fed kibble, I'd still be worried too. It's like they just threw their hands up and said "I don't know!"
