After five years working with a certain mob on the AM dial, Brian Taylor returned to his true home in 2015 - Triple M Footy. After calling his first game on the first Sunday of the season, his long awaited return to the full Rub crew happened on Easter Monday.

The first words out of his mouth were "Shut up Spud!" - and the old sparring partners let each other have it!

In May 2014 Danny Frawley stepped down from the AFL Coaches Association that he founded, and he told the Saturday Rub boys he had some scores to settle in the aftermath... it turned out it was them!

Spud Frawley went the blub when he introduced Plugger Lockett at St Kilda's Hall of Fame in 2010, which naturally the other Saturday Rub boys poked fun at every opportunity. One night he threatened to club everyone involved, which ended up with Plugger himself getting involved - and a Footy Show stitch up!
