    Instructions for Nasal Breathing with Mṛgi Mudrā

    Nostril manipulation is a common prāṇāyāma technique. Chase provides instructions for how to influence the breath's movement through the nose using the classical technique of mṛgi mudrā. Correct positioning of the hand, wrist and arm is discussed along with comments about possible experiences therein. Additionally, it is combined with the practice of extending the exhale through the nostrils.

    Listen and learn a chant from Taittirīya -saṁhitā (5.7.4.15) which honors the moon as connected to the Earth and the healing power of plants. Practice your focus on listening and repeating as you experience this brief Vedic mantra without seeing the written words.
