    On this weeks episode I review the newest animated action edition to their franchise, Kung Fu Panda 4. I invited my little cousin Pito to come on for the first time to give me his take on this family friendly comedy. We also review Pokemon: Detective Pikachu for this week's throwback movie. 

    Kung Fu Panda 4. Directed by Mike Mitchel and Stephanie Stine. After Po is tapped to become the Spiritual Leader of the Valley of Peace, he needs to find and train a new Dragon Warrior, while a wicked sorceress plans to re-summon all the master villains whom Po has vanquished to the spirit realm.

    Pokemon: Detective Pikachu (2019). Directed by Rob Letterman. In a world where people collect Pokémon to do battle, a boy comes across an intelligent talking Pikachu who seeks to be a detective.

    Dune Part 2

    Dune Part 2

    On this weeks epsiode I review Dune Part 2. There is no guest this week, but I do my best to give my thoughts on the great sequel. Following the success to Dune Pare 1 in 2021, this sequel keeps the same essence as the first one. I would recommend seeing this movie in theaters instead of waiting for it to stream. For the first half of this episode, I give a recap of Hollywood news that happened in February. All the movies announced, casting, and trailers. 

    Dune Part Two. Directed by Denis Villeneuve.  Paul Atreides unites with Chani and the Fremen while seeking revenge against the conspirators who destroyed his family.

    On this weeks episode, I have Mario Kart champion of NWI, Greg Rucinski, back on the podcast to discuss everything Nintendo. We talk about growing up with Nintendo, all their counsels, characters, and movies. We even review the live action Super Mario Bros (1993). Greg gives us the behind the scene drama of the cult classic. I give my quick review of Maddame Web and Bob Marley: One Love. 

    Super Mario Bros. (1993). Directed by Annabel Jankel and Rocky Morton.  Two Brooklyn plumbers, Mario and Luigi, must travel to another dimension to rescue a princess from the evil dictator King Koopa and stop him from taking over the world.

    On this weeks episode we celebrate Valentine's Day! I have on recurring guest, Yesi Flores and we review two of our favorite romantic comedies. Yesi's choice is How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days and I picked Will Smith's Hitch. We also do a mini review of Netflix's new drama, Griselda. We share our stories of embarrassing dates, and talk about our feelings of Valentines Day.

    Hitch (2005). Directed by Andy Tennant. A smooth-talking man falls for a hardened columnist while helping a shy accountant woo a beautiful heiress.

    How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days (2003). Directed by Donald Petrie. Benjamin Barry is an advertising executive and ladies' man who, to win a big campaign, bets that he can make a woman fall in love with him in 10 days.

We discuss expectations of Usher's performance this year, and we go off track talking about Taylor Swift in the NFL.

Based on the 2004 classic, Mean Girls hits the big screen again in attempt bring back the original fans and cast in a younger audience. Making her debut on this podcast, I invited Dayanara Jimenez to help me review this movie. We also travel back into time to compare it to the original and discuss our ups and down in the movies. We also play a trivia game based on the original Mean Girls movie.

    On this weeks episode, not only are we celebrating the podcast 2nd anniversary, this is also the 100th episode. I am so greatful to being able to do the podcast everyweek and spend time with friends talking about movies. To help me celebrate I invited a recurring guest to the show, Fernando Jimenez.     Merry Chirstmas! On this week episode I am joined by guest, Yesenia Flores. Together we enjoy watching Christmas movies in our pajamas while drinking my famous holiday drink, The Tipsy Gingerbread Man. I test Yesenia's christmas movie knowledge by playing a game to see if she can list the top ten grossing christmas movies of all time. We also review George Lopez's new Amazon Prime Christmas movie, How the Gringo Stole Christmas. We give honest opnion on how we as Mexican Americans felt represented in this movie. We also dig into our childhood and reviewed Jim Carry's movie, How The Grinch Stole Christmas.

    How The Gringo Stole Christmas. Directed by Angel Garcia. Bennie's daughter is on her way home for the holidays. However she surprises him by arriving with her brand new boyfriend - an uninvited GRINGO.

    How The Grinch Stole Christmas (2000). Directed by Ron Howard. On the outskirts of Whoville lives a green, revenge-seeking Grinch who plans to ruin Christmas for all of the citizens of the town.

    On this weeks episode we learn about the darker side to Christmas. I am joined by recurring guest, Greg Rucinski. We reviewed the 80's classic movie, Gremlins. We admired how timeless this movie is. And for our second movie, we reviewed the Christmas horror movie, Rare Exports. 

    Gremlins (1984). Directed by Joe Dante. A young man inadvertently breaks three important rules concerning his new pet and unleashes a horde of malevolently mischievous monsters on a small town.

    Rare Exports (2010). Directed by Jalmari Helander. In the depths of the Korvatunturi mountains, 486 meters deep, lies the closest ever guarded secret of Christmas. The time has come to dig it up. This Christmas everyone will believe in Santa Claus.

We discuss how our likes and dislikes to hilarious comedy starring Michael Fassbender. Liz also picked this weeks throwback movie, Bleed for This, starring Miles Teller. 

    Next Goal Wins. Directed by Taika Waititi.  The story of the infamously terrible American Samoa soccer team, known for a brutal 2001 FIFA match they lost 31-0.

    Bleed for This(2015). Directed by Ben Younger. The inspirational story of World Champion Boxer Vinny Pazienza who, after a near fatal car crash which left him not knowing if he'd ever walk again, made one of sports' most incredible comebacks.

    On this weeks episode I reviewed Joaquin Phoenix's newest epic movie, Napoleon. I had on the famous Glenn Steal to help me review this biopic of one of the most documented historical figures. We also recap thanksgiving week and prep for Christmas Movies. 
    Napoleon. Directed by Ridley Scott. An epic that details the checkered rise and fall of French Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte and his relentless journey to power through the prism of his addictive, volatile relationship with his wife, Josephine.

    On this weeks episode, I reviewed to big movies based off of popular young adult novels. I review The Hunger Games: the Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes. A prequel to the mid 2000's Hunger Games franchise. I invited friend of the show, Greg Rucinski, who is a fan of the franchise, movies and books. He picks this weeks throwback episode and picked most high schooler's favorite movie at the time, Twilight. 

    The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes. Directed by Gary Ross. Katniss Everdeen voluntarily takes her younger sister's place in the Hunger Games: a televised competition in which two teenagers from each of the twelve Districts of Panem are chosen at random to fight to the death.

    Twilight (2008). Directed by Catherine Hardwicke. When Bella Swan moves to a small town in the Pacific Northwest, she falls in love with Edward Cullen, a mysterious classmate who reveals himself to be a 108-year-old vampire.

    On this weeks episode I review the newest superhero team up movie, The Marvels. This has to be the most mixed reviewed movie I have ever seen. I am joined by my best friend and superhero enthusiast, Joey Rivera. We break down all of our likes and dislikes of the movie, as well as the possible future for Marvel. 

    The Marvels. Directed by Nia DaCosta. Carol Danvers gets her powers entangled with those of Kamala Khan and Monica Rambeau, forcing them to work together to save the universe.

    Happy Halloween! On this weeks episode, I celebrated Halloween with a regular guest, Greg Rucinski. We watched Five Nights At Freddy's to see if it lives up to the popular video game franchise. And for this weeks throwback episode, we visited another franchise that was popular in the 90's, Earnest Scared Stupid. We discuss if it still holds up and remains a classic. We also play some Halloween Trivia!

    Five Nights at Freddy's. Directed by Emma Tammi. A troubled security guard begins working at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. During his first night on the job, he realizes that the night shift won't be so easy to get through. Pretty soon he will unveil what actually happened at Freddy's.

    Earnest Scared Stupid(1991). Directed by John Cherry III. Ernest accidentally unleashes an ugly troll that plots to transform children into wooden dolls in the town of Briarville, Missouri.
