With the support of Chesapeake Energy, the group packed 1000 kits including gloves, hats, snacks, and toiletries. And as a bonus, the residents were surprised with a total makeover of their theater room.
Danilo Gallinari takes a family of 12 to Homeland to buy a bunch of groceries before the holidays and then surprises them with an additional $500 gift card.
Thunder two-way players Kevin Hervey and Lu Dort join Thunder fans at Embark Senior Living Center to make mats for the homeless.
Chris Paul surprised kids from the Big Brother, Big Sister program with a $100 gift card to spend with just one stipulation; they had to buy at least one gift for someone else.
The entire Thunder roster brought gifts and games to Dave & Buster's as families with foster kids were surprised with a fun afternoon. Dennis Schröder made a special connection playing pop-a-shot with DShawn, who admitted that Dennis is his favorite player. Working with Citizens Caring For Children, foster families had a special day and made memories that will last a lifetime.
To honor and remember the 168 lives lost during the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building bombing, the Thunder partnered with the Oklahoma City National Memorial to create the new City Edition uniforms, which were given to family members of everyone lost on April 19, 1995.
