In the middle of whatever hurricane you are in, I'm making this episode on 2/24 obviously for Kobe and Gigi Bryant but also as maybe an outlet for stressful times. I'm hoping this might be helpful for inspire some sort of peace in the unrest.

Another week of fantasy yum yum here's the sitch, I'll keep it tight.

Hi all, I'm back for another episode, It's not even Week 4 but it definitely feels like it is. Things are starting to heat up, people are flying with their elbows so I'd thought I'd give some thoughts before the week starts!

Another week of fantasy another trek to the top. This week we explore some wrong choices for last weeks episode and a potential keg ready to be lit.

Week 1 flew by. Here's a lil synopsis on players I believe have made their leap, players who will cool off, waiver wire snags, rookie sensations and most notably the number 1 pick Cade Cunningham. Hope this helps you all propel through your first weeks and remember to not overshoot fam.

Torch of Fantasy Basketball Podcast SEASON 2: The Trek to Remove the Asterisk

Hey guys, I'm doing another fantasy season where I try to win the whole chip in our lil Torch league. In 2019, I was winning fantasy basketball before COVID struck. After not podcasting in 2020 and bottoming out in the league (I think I got last), I'm going to give it a go again to see if I can do it better. This is year 11 - lets see if I can do this.

Here are the 5 MAJOR things to I'd try to keep in mind heading into your fantasy draft. You'll notice it's not very specific because things vary wildly from league to league. Hopefully this leaves you with the best possible team available at your disposal.

The Knicks royally f***ed up as usual. Go watch the Kobe Memorial if you haven't for some closure. Here er some things to spot coming into the playoffs for fantasy basketball.

A moment of silence. In memoriam of Kobe and Gigi Bryant. Here is an 8-minute, 24-second episode to honor the passing of Kobe and Gigi as well as those also on the helicopter. Silence can be powerful, especially in the face of overwhelming loss. Let’s remember him not only as a legendary athlete but also as a loving father and an amazing creator, thinker, writer, filmmaker, and even podcast producer. He inspired millions of lives both on and off the court; much of the basketball I love today has been shaped by watching his intensity and passion as a 7-year old kid. It was amazing to see his growth and his love for life, basketball, family reaching far after his retirement from the NBA and gave me giant dreams for my own life. For many others, I’m sure you’ve had different experiences involving Kobe or what impact he might've had for you. 

Thank you for pressing play. I hoped everyone could take this episode to appreciate Kobe’s impact, the joy he brought you as a Kobe fan, or even to just quietly appreciate those you have in your own lives. Whether that be his messages of dedication, passion, love, Mamba Mentality, creativity or any of the other possible reasons Kobe might have affected you, I’m hoping everyone takes something small away from all this. I think it’s helped me appreciate those around me in my life just a little more than I already do. Go show your appreciation to friends and family.

To those of you in my life and family, I love you all. Prayers to the Bryant family as well, I can’t begin to imagine the devastation. Rest in paradise Kobe Bryant and Gianna Bryant. 

We're around halfway through fantasy so far and with this podcast!! Hope everyone's enjoying the listens and vibes. We've already had some trades thrown down, let's see where everyone's heads at! 

Just wanted to really scrub through David Sterns accomplishments and fails I guess. This information is reflective of the days from Dec 30 to Jan 5. Hopefully I can get a full one out for the week 12. Hope everyone had a great New Years! Lets GO 2020!!
