In her latest book Owning Your Menopause, Kate proves it’s possible to become fitter, calmer and stronger during menopause.

Award winning Dr Wassim Taktouk’s broad medical background and discerning eye have made him one of London’s most sought-after aesthetic physicians. After graduating from St. Bartholomew’s and The Royal London School of Medicine, he moved to Sydney where he earned his stripes working in A&E. On returning to the UK in 2005, he qualified as a GP and spent the following ten years serving at the Emergency Department in London’s Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. During this period his passion for aesthetics was cemented with a Postgraduate Diploma in Dermatology and a membership with the British College of Aesthetic Medicine.

In 2021, he launched his eponymous clinic, which swiftly became known for its state-of-the-art technology, world-leading physicians and a compassionate, ethical approach to integrative aesthetics.

His creative use of injectables and media-friendly personality have earned him accolades from international press including Tatler, Vogue, ELLE, Hello!, Harper’s Bazaar, ES and The Guardian.  Television appearances include the BBC documentary The Truth About Cosmetic Treatments and ITV’s This Morning. With a background in branding and marketing, having co-founded my own agency at 27. Grace worked with celebrity make-up artist Jemma Kidd on her Make-Up School range for Boots before founding Studio 10 on a mission for all mature women.

She realised she couldn’t find anywhere to buy jeans that she felt truly comfortable in, so when a friend suggested that Donna should launch a denim brand, she did exactly that.

In 2012 Donna launched her own denim line DONNA IDA, which GRAZIA magazine hailed ‘Jeans Genius.’ The collection was inspired by Donna’s grandmother Ida who was known for her style in rural Australia and made all her own patterns, and clothed the entire family as well as friends.

She began writing regularly for the ‘Guardian’ a couple of years into her career, in her mid-twenties; she wrote in ‘G2’ from the comments and analysis section (she was the youngest journalist to have a regular Comments column). After a stint on staff at ‘Vogue’, she moved to the ‘Evening Standard’, which is when she began working for newspapers in earnest. She worked on staff at ‘The Observer’ for eight years, during which time she launched ‘Observer Woman’, and interviewed everyone from David Cameron to Take That.

Since December 2010, she has been Grazia's Editor at Large and lead columnist, and has held a writing contract with the ‘Saturday Times’. In 2015 Polly released her first book ‘Hot Feminist ‘which is "based on a principle of non-judgment (because there's enough already), honesty about how often we mess this up, and empowerment through looks.

Renowned for upcycling or ‘converting’ preowned clothes into new & original couture pieces, Kate’s designs are seen on the global fashion stage, from New York Fashion Week to the Oscars, Grammys and BAFTAs. Queen of style Sarah Jessica Parker wore many of her designs as the iconic Carrie Bradshaw in the seconds And Just Like That!

At the time of recording, she’s back from speaking at a UN global First Ladies luncheon. Kate is challenging the status quo and showing how low-impact fashion will take its place at the heart of the fashion-forward sustainable future. As the planet gets hotter, upcycling gets cooler and Kate is at the forefront of the movement, proving that our old clothes really can become the desirable ‘new’ clothes of the future.
