We now reach the conclusion of this portion of Naomi's journey. We met her when she had a dismal view of her life. We now see in retrospect what see could not see earlier.
Presenting this vantage point is hoped to provide for all that started this journey with Naomi to embrace the fact that they, too, have value and purpose yet to be realized.
We often have a narrow view of the impact of what we do have on others and the lives of individuals that follow us. In this chapter we will she how the life of this woman, Naomi, who once felt life was over for her - impacted the lives of generations to follow. Including our own!!!
This chapter now offers reflections on Naomi's journey and expounds on the fact that the end of many trials in life can and often do result in joy beyond our imagination as we place our trust in the Lord.
We have journeyed with Naomi, a woman, who had announced to all her despair and loss of hope for purpose in life. We will now begin to gain encouragement and feel hopeful as she does - knowing if God did it for her - He will do it for us.
A promise had been kept. Negotiations had been entered into and finalized. Congratulations and Blessings were now in order.
Ruth benefited from Naomi's counsel and knowledge of the customs of the land. This chapter tells of how another woman relied solely on her own knowledge of the customs of the land to strategically plan and accomplish her desired end.
The process through which Naomi's life would change from hopelessness and despair is now set in motion.
Wait Patiently! This chapter starts with the ramifications many individuals experience due to an inability to - wait patiently for the fulfillment of a promise. We then continue to follow these two women's journey (Ruth and Naomi) and what they did when their next move depended on someone else.
This chapter , Stay Focused - No Looking Back, brings forth a discussion on the the reason many times our ability to go forward is troublesome. Many times we are attempting to do too many things and/or things that are not our assignment.
The previous events that caused Naomi to feel life was over for her are about to become a thing of the past. In this episode we see and hopefully be encouraged to believe life can change for the better when least expected in a manner least expected. Listen and let HOPE arise.
In this chapter we see Naomi beginning to arise from a place of deep hurt and anguish. We see her turning her attention from herself to helping Ruth move forward in life. It is an exciting turn of events for both Ruth and Naomi.
The process for Naomi to be restored to a place of hope and joy involved rebuilding her life. That is something that often seems impossible when you've been deeply hurt. This chapter outlines a personal experience along these lines.
We experience losses all the time - from a tooth being pulled or the departure of someone close to us - family or friend. It is during these times everybody struggles for some way to offer comfort to those who are grieving. Sometimes we are the ones' grieving and trying to make sense of the situation.
It is during such times that our only comfort comes from the promise of God to 'Comfort Those Who Mourn." I have found Him to be faithful to His word. The way He does it passes understanding, but He does it nonetheless.
This chapter in my book details one of my experiences in the area of being comforted as only the Most High God could do. He will comfort those that mourn.
