Last night the girls got chatty. We were all over the map ( not literally the map ). So before I could finally segway into wrapping this up dudes entered the chat. Now one dude I know of but haven’t met ( yet ). But wait the Kid has a random dude bff…huh? Guess who wants a meet & greet? Lol! They scared imma ask 20 questions. Too funny, but imma have fun until this happens. K bye! 

First let me correct myself cause it’s 
ReesaTeesa  not RessaTessa…lol!! It’s a story for the books, Tyler Perry, Netflix or Lifetime, but it’s 50 parts I can’t commit too. She hit the jackpot of all jackpots without playing the lottery. Her story is relatable for all those looking for love, marriage and babies. Now I’d say give it a listen, but don’t pass judgement. She’s already done that…..learn from her. I’ve been reflecting on & off for weeks now regarding my life. Mainly, about how it’s changed. The traumatizing event of surrogates death and soon it’ll be one whole year. The Kid growing up and the other still trying to find her place. I’m sure come 4/1 I’ll sum up that year. K bye! 

Today is senior picture day for the Kid. It was like a proud parent moment and I’m not her parent. I’m not ready, but I am ( not really ). I know come graduation day I’m going to be a crying mess for a whole lot of reasons. I love that Kid! K bye!! 

The day finally came and the Kid got her septum piercing and a tattoo to boot. Look she’s 18 and it’s her body. I’m not about to block her, but I do have my limits. Besides I have many tattoos. lol! Saturdays outing was with her dentist bff who also got her septum pierced. It was cool and a fun afternoon. Oh and yeah, I got a tat. K byeeee! 

Recapping the week as it’s been eventful. I’m recapping that life is life’ing, stress, the Kid, Oscar still White, POC hair still an issue, this Presidential election year, etc. Still trying to figure out how to do me with all I got going on, but I’ll figure it out. We are failing our kids. I say we because don’t we say “ It takes a village “? How does a 10 yr old leave her home at 9pm? How does a 23 yr old upon meeting feel it’s ok to sexually assault a child? A Bumble account was made…by whom that hasn’t come out. Dating apps require you be 18+ to open an account. Parents stop being your kids friends and parent. Kids are out here having kids, acting like adults and navigating this world with no guidance. Pray for that child and others like her.

Yes, my stress is on an all time high and I’m hitting the gym more. So now I need to slow my roll…meaning take rest days. Not a day but days. I will because I really don’t need another person saying am I losing weight. Life is Life’ing and I'm not about to lose control over my well being. I’m good, so no worries. K bye!

2023 is coming to an end and its been a shit show for a lot of reasons. I did my year end blog post. Started it yesterday and finished it after my workout this afternoon. Be careful what you ask for, because the universe hears and will deliver. 2023 is going out with a bang and I hope we get on a better playing field come 2024. Christmas should have been a happy occasion for both but it wasn’t. She got a dose of ask and you shall receive. Unfortunately she’ll learn but it’s going to be the hard way. K bye!

The Kid feels she needs to protect her sisters heart from heartbreak ( we ain’t there yet ) and to stop her from experiencing life as a 20 yr old. Mainly, because it’s putting her on the back burner. The Kid has been a caregiver since I’ve known her. She has to release that, because it should have never been her job. They both have life to live and experiences to learn. That’s part of a long text the 20 yr old sent me yesterday. She needed to talk and asked if she could call me. She never has to ask, all she needs to do is call. The call lasted 2hr 27 mins and I think the last hr & 27 mins was all her. She’s fighting a demon ( her mom ) and holding onto trauma. Something I know her, the kid and myself need help with. 2024 we’ll work on that. K bye! 

I say pick your poison, because with all the turmoil that’s happening in and around the world it’s hard. One of my poisons ( cause I have many ) is the NFL. With this new incident it continues to show me no change is being made. I will continue to Stand With Kap and if you continue to feel he’s unpatriotic lawd you’re sadly mistaken. The Cassie vs Diddy lawsuit got y'all splitting lines. Got y’all questioning her motives. Got y’all saying it’s a money grab, but wait y’all silent sorta regarding Diddy. Why?  Cassie was 19, Diddy was 37….we not talking about that? Allegedly Misa ( first baby mama ) was 17 when she met Diddy, but had their son at 20 yrs old.
