Kingdom Conversation: Michael Pierce, A Generation Hungry for the Authentic Gospel

In this episode we get to talk with Circuit Riders Global Outreach co-director Michael Pierce. It is a powerful conversation about sharing the authentic Gospel with a generation that is hungry for truth. Michael and his wife Yasmin are full-time missionaries that are passionate about reaching this generation globally just like the circuit riders of old. He gives us great insight from his own story that led him to take up the mantle with such vigor while reminding us some of the origin story behind these historic evangelists. We talk about family, revival on college campuses, what we as the church have contributed to stereotypes of Christianity today and more.

Kingdom Conversation: Shae Bynes, His Grace, Not Your Grind

Kingdom Conversation: Shae Bynes, His Grace, Not Your Grind

Shae Bynes has passionately turned the message of Grace over Grind into a movement that transcends business and gives powerful insight into how we can walk in God's grace in our daily lives. In this Kingdom Conversation, we catch up with Shae as she has released the 5th Anniversary edition of the best-selling book Grace over Grind with even more wisdom that can take your business and your life to the next level. Take a listen to discover that it is all about His grace and not your grind.

We cover the "with factor" from Matthew 11 that changed the game for her that we can practically apply to our own lives. Shae pointed out the difference between chronos and kairos time and how we can get into more sustainable rhythms. She shines a light on how Kingdom impact is unique to each individual, but that we can all rely on God's grace to walk in our Kingdom mandate. We discuss how Jesus took time out to be with The Father and how much that means we should be doing the same thing each day. Enjoy this cup that will be a jolt of Jesus joy for you as much as it was for me.

Kingdom Conversation: Krissy Nelson, Say Goodbye to What Holds You Back

Kingdom Conversation: Krissy Nelson, Say Goodbye to What Holds You Back

In this Kingdom Conversation I get to talk with my friend Krissy Nelson about her latest book Say Goodbye to What Holds You Back. There is so much wisdom in this that it is hard to get it all into one podcast, but we sure tried. Krissy gives perspective on the journey writing this book while “moming,” dealing with the aftermath of the pandemic, serving in ministry and more. We talk about the walls that we allow the enemy to construct and how Jesus is with us in the fire while also discussing the concept of letting go and saying no. We get insight from Krissy on the most common walls we deal with and a reminder that they are a distraction to keep us from the joy we find in Jesus. Bottom line, believe what God says about you and say goodbye to what holds you back.

Kingdom Conversation: Pastors Todd Smith and Marty Darracott on 5 years of the North Georgia Revival

Kingdom Conversation: Pastors Todd Smith and Marty Darracott on 5 years of the North Georgia Revival

Quincy got to catch up with our friends Pastor Todd Smith and Pastor Marty Darracott of Christ Fellowship Church in Dawsonville, Ga. live on Q in the Morning (Victory 91.5) ahead of the five-year anniversary of the North Georgia Revival.

Pastors Todd and Marty gave powerful perspective on #revival as it has played out in north Georgia and put it into context for where this move of God is today. We discussed the early days of what The Lord has done in response to travailing prayer and pushing through what God showed them to do in the face of outside critics. The conversation moved along with opportunites to talk about the outpouring of The Holy Spirit at Asbury University and beyond while also allowing us to discuss getting out of our own way when it comes to the fruit of revival.

Kingdom Conversation: La Toija Snodgrass, What They’ve Always Wanted

Kingdom Conversation: La Toija Snodgrass, What They’ve Always Wanted

The book “What They’ve Always Wanted: Fellowship with God The Father, Son and Holy Spirit” is the catalyst to our Kingdom Conversation with La Toija Snodgrass as we also get to hear about her journey of realizing the difference between religion and relationship and how that grows when we spend time with The Father. La Toija shared how she talked with God about her calling to be a pastor’s wife and we had a laugh about telling God our plans. She shared a specific dream from The Lord that opened her up to more once she acted in obedience. There was opportunity to discuss family and ministry balance as well as what it means to give up sleep and really seek after our time with God early in the morning. La Toija shared her thoughts on the normalization of the supernatural in our prayer lives and expecting it all to look like it did in the Bible. We also talked about intercessory prayer, revival and the importance of spiritual parents/mentors.

Then, we got to dive into the book The Lord gave La Toija to author, “What They’ve Always Wanted: Fellowship with God The Father, Son and Holy Spirit.”  We talk about the the difference between praise and worship, discuss the friendship and deity of God, take a look at how childlike imagination plays into our prayer lives and more.

Kingdom Teaching: The Economy of God

Kingdom Teaching: The Economy of God

The economy of God is more than our finances. It has a lot more to do with position and alignment in God’s Kingdom.

Jeff takes us into Colossians 1 and a look at the word dispensation. We get different definitions from this word dispensation. One definition is administration. Another definition is stewardship, and another one is economy.

We also go back into Genesis to talk about Adam, Noah and Abraham to discuss more about God’s plan as well as what these Old Testament generations show us about the New Testament church along with what it all means for today. Jeff also points out how this all comes together in the order of Melchizedek.

The other economy, the economy or dispensation of the world, is in darkness. We cannot allow the enemy to keep us where we can not see. We are the light of the world when we are in a place of real commitment and fellowship with the Lord.

God has a plan for us all, as believers, in His economy, in His administration, in His Kingdom. God’s economy encompasses more than we think and this episode begins a series that dives deep into revealing the mystery of God’s government, His Kingdom economy.

Kingdom Teaching: The Voice of The Lord

Kingdom Teaching: The Voice of The Lord

Do you have trouble hearing the voice of The Lord?

Whitney and Jeff take a look at what it means to hear the voice of The Lord and give some declarations that open the door so that we can grow in our understanding. We discuss words of knowledge along with other modes of the prophetic and being open to act on them.  Jeff points out that when we lean into this in hearing The Lord that God can communicate with us on another level while Whitney gives some examples of operating out of this level of communication with God. We get into the logos, zoe and rhema Word of The Lord and more. We lay out examples and evidence from Scripture that point out you too can hear The Voice of The Lord.

Isaiah 50:4 says that The Lord has given us the tongue of the learned.  Look at the words, “The Lord has given me.” This is now a faith statement for us. If God gave it, all we have to do is receive it. The next verse tells us that, “The Lord has opened my ear.” Again, “The Lord opens our ear.” We have to receive that by faith. It's just like when we got born again, to come into The Kingdom. The Lord gives the grace. The Lord opens our ear to hear His voice. We can't miss it with him. He's a father that loves, but He needs faith, substance to please Him. We just need to say what The Word says, “The Lord has opened our ear” to hear Him. From this day forward, you're going to hear the voice of the Lord, like you never have before. Why? Because we receive it by faith. So it's no different than receiving salvation, receiving healing, receiving the Holy Ghost. It’s a faith thing, right? I believe, I believe with all my heart, God has given me an ear to hear His voice and a heart to obey Him. God did that.

I put more confidence in His ability to speak to me more than in my ability to hear Him. That’s where the faith is. In that God can communicate to His people. Stop looking at yourself and put more confidence in God's ability. He made the mouth. He made us to two ears. He is able to open our ears to His Word.   Our job is to receive the tongue of the learned. Our job is to receive the open ear and the open heart to obey. That's our job. God is greater than anything that the enemy uses to make you believe that you can’t hear the voice of The Lord.

Kingdom Conversation: Michael Dow, Beholding and Becoming

Kingdom Conversation: Michael Dow, Beholding and Becoming

Burning Ones founder, sought-after speaker and author Michael Dow joins Quincy for a Kingdom Conversation sharing his supernatural journey into ministry and giving insight into his latest book, "Beholding and Becoming."

He had been given a terrible medical diagnosis, due to his own life choices, at age 17, that would have doomed his future family to a shared fate. This man had been into about everything you could get into in the streets. Michael's radical encounter with Jesus came after his intended purpose for being at the church that day was to beat up a pastor and then, in Michael's words, he made the mistake of praying. But, God.

He went from experiencing that church service with a song that had the congregation singing about a desire to be lit on fire confusing and even somewhat scaring him, to burning for Jesus for over 20 years and counting.

The latest book by Michael Dow is called Beholding and Becoming and he said, "The book is written with the intent of helping people to better understand that God has a story, that life is not just random, but that God has a story. And that through the Born Again experience, we have been brought into God's story. And now, as a new creation, I am living in light of God's story. Filled with the power of His Spirit to be radically aligned to God and radically aligned to His agenda in whatever unique moment of history my life might be strategically designed and assigned to and that I am a Heavenly Representative."

Michael added, "This is how Paul saw himself. So it's that 2nd Corinthians 5 we now, in light of what God has done, are living as ambassadors   With the Ministry of Reconciliation and the Word of reconciliation and the language, I love it in The Passion and some of the other translations, he says as representatives of God, almost as if God was in us begging and pleading with mankind be reconciled to God while there's still time."

This power-packed testimony driven conversation is well worth your time to watch or listen to be encouraged and challenged.

Kingdom Conversation: Dr. Grady S. McMurtry, Creation Worldview

As the world reacts to the images NASA has released from the Webb Space Telescope, we have a Kingdom Conversation with former evolutionist and now long-time Biblical scientific creationist scientist Dr. Grady S. McMurtry for a discussion on our origins as well as some of his own origin story. As a full-time international creation emissary Biblical scientific Creationist apologist,  Dr. McMurtry travels the world to take the truths of Biblical foundations to the Church and the secular world. He said, "If you are willing to learn, you must be willing to change." Dr. McMurtry gives perspective and cold, hard facts from both science and Scripture as we discuss young earth, dinosaurs, evolution, gravity and more in this informative interview. "If you are going to seek truth, if you find truth, you must accept it."

He also give us some perspective on Russia and the Ukraine as he has made over 50 missionary trips to Russia alone over the course of his time in ministry.

Kingdom Foundational Stones: Doctrines of Baptism Pt. 4

As we continue in our Kingdom Foundational Stones series with part 4 highlighting the baptism of the cloud Jeff takes us into Hebrews 6 and 11 to point out that the cloud from Exodus is a type and shadow of leadership. We also discuss that it means movement and progression as we apply it to present day truth. God's intention with His people coming out of Egypt was to take them through the wilderness, not let the wilderness be their destruction. Romans 8 tells us that we are led by The Spirit and we discuss that it is God's sovreignty that leads us. We also talk about how maturity in leadership and discipleship should lead to us being light and not fighting about who is right.

This series has also covered the Kingdom Foundational Stones from Hebrews 6 of Repentance from Dead Works and Faith Toward God.

This story that is targeted toward children, but is really for all ages, features Pete and the other residents of Jigsaw. Pete has a moment, that we all deal with, trying to figure out where he fits.
