    Dr. Ed Fox talks with Dax Strohmeyer, CEO of Triangle Manufacturing, about the crucial importance of Employee Assistance Programs during a pandemic. His work with Triangle has demonstrated the importance of smart, adaptive behavior during a crisis and its impact on the health of the company when done successfully.

    Dr. Fox is the Founder & President of Intervention Strategies International, Inc., which works with organizations to enhance team productivity, develop positive corporate culture and provide support services for employees.

    Dr. Fox passed away a short month after the recording of this interview. This Episode is dedicated to him.

    041: Coming to America with Alexander Tsygutkin

    Alex has been at Triangle for 11 years as a CNC Programmer. He emigrated to the United States from the Soviet Union to escape a life of discrimination and limited personal freedom. With his wife and daughter, they built a rewarding, free life in America and are grateful for the opportunities they now enjoy.

    In his spare time, he pays it forward by teaching CNC programming at Bergen Community College. He is also a passionate sailor and he and his wife spend weekends and vacation time sailing the Northeast waters on their new home, a 42’ Catalina.

    039: From Co-op to Mentors with Nick Magro and Dave Cranstoun

    Dave Cranstoun came to Triangle as a CO-OP in the summer of 2015 and was hired full time in the spring of 2017. Hi is now a Manufacturing Engineer. Nicholas Magro first came to Triangle as a college CO-OP in the summer of 2017. He was hired full time in 2019 and is now a Quality Engineer.

    They share a unique perspective having had this CO-OP opportunity in their careers. This advantage has become their compass as they navigate their roles as mentors to the CO-OP class of 2022. They have been collaborating for months to make sure they provide extraordinary learning experiences for these future Engineers.

    035: The Side Hustle of Holy Grail Burgers with Jonathan de la Cruz Pimentel

    Jonathan de la Cruz Pimentel has been a Triangle associate since the beginning of 2019 and has quickly moved up the ladder and across multiple disciplines. He is extremely curious and highly motivated, starting as a material handler in two medical cells. He was fascinated by the machines and asked to be trained on them. He is now a #CNC operator.

    Overcoming hardships from an early age, Jonathan emigrated to the United States from the Dominican Republic when he was eighteen and has not looked back. He has always taken the path of more resistance, learning as much as he can, and is eager to continue this process with dreams of tackling software programming for the machines that he works on next.

    Carlos Garzon has been with Triangle for 4 years. He is a CNC Setup Operator and is a “night owl,” working 2nd shift. He works in the medical manufacturing area on mills, both horizontal and vertical, as well as turning centers. His versatility with the equipment and his willingness to help others makes him the go-to guy when other associates have technical or setup issues. It helps make the night time hours fly by!

    027: Courtney Crerand/Quality Assurance Specialist

    Courtney joined Triangle originally in 2016 working in Quality Assurance and returned in March 2022 as a Quality Assurance Specialist. She is a certified ISO 13485:2016 Lead Auditor and helps to manage and maintain all aspects of Triangle’s Quality Management System. Courtney is a life-long dancer, and currently teaches dance to children of all ages in various styles for both competition and recreation. In her spare time, Courtney enjoys cooking, spending time with family and friends, and watching The Real Housewives.
