Despite not publishing an episode for a couple of weeks, we have the nerve to discuss streaks! Namely, which brand has been on a bit of a tear as of late. 

In this week's episode Spence, Spangler, and Buzz are joined by our friend Mike Stockton from Fratello watches! We talk about what the future of Universal Geneve under Breitling ownership might look like. We also each build a watch (Spangler's idea) based on components of existing timepieces. A sort of everyman's Moser Swiss Legend concept. Enjoy!

This episode has been teased, and for good reason. We are delighted to have our buddy Chris Sohl back on the show. Chris has been rather busy since we last spoke with him. As an avid diver and watch enthusiast, he has had the opportunity to be at, or in some cases organize, some pretty cool events in which his two passions intersect. Whether it be Wind Up In a Lake, the recent Tudor FXD launch, or a Mark V dive with a special meaning. His experiences have allowed us to live vicariously through him at times, and his storytelling is superb. We hope you enjoy this one as much as we did!

It has been a minute, but we are finally back. Spence and the Buzzman talk new releases from Seiko, Certina, Blancpain, and Zenith. We also have some personal fresh forum finds, and we talk a bit about beauty and objectivity in watches. Enjoy!

Sad news this week, legendary host of The Price Is Right, Bob Barker, passed away at the age of 99. While we are all saddened by the news, we felt a tribute was in order. So we brought friend of the show @Brodinkee back to play host to a little competition between Spence and Buzz. This was a lot of fun to record, and despite having to do most of the work, we think @Brodinkee enjoyed playing host. Enjoy!

We talk about the evolution of watch tastes within specific watch categories. How one might start out with a Seiko and end up with a Submariner! This was a lot more fun than either of us anticipated, we hope you enjoy!

This episode is the first time we have had brothers as guests on the podcast. Surprising that it has taken us this long, but it was worth the wait. We have local friends Zack and Mitch who both have influenced each other along their collecting journey. Additionally, many of you may have run across Mitch's website, Menswearmusings.com! We get the inside scoop on his journey and passion for tailored clothing, the experience of going to Pitti Uomo in Florence, and how welcoming the menswear community can be. There is a significant amount of overlap here with watch collecting, so these topics seem to fit like a well tailored jacket, enjoy!

This week's episode was pitched to us (and Wrist Cheese Radio) by a listener local to us in Cincinnati. We all have watches that fill a gap in our collection, and for that reason, there are other watches we do not own. In some ways, this is the collection we could have had.
