In these deep waters, we often encounter moments that lead to deep conversations with ourselves and with others. In today’s episode Kristin shares a conversation with her son Sawyer, who experienced a profound dream that led him to make some big decisions but ultimately put his trust in the Lord. 

After sharing his dream, Sawyer felt called to put aside something he deeply loved. This is where his journey becomes a testament to faith and trust. His dream had revealed to him that while he might be putting aside a beloved passion, there was something better lined up for him in the future. This is a profound realization that not only requires faith in oneself but also faith in the Holy Spirit. 

Our faith and willingness to navigate life's deep waters with the Holy Spirit will ultimately lead us to a greater sense of purpose, fulfillment, and a deeper understanding of our calling.

In today’s episode Kristin invites you into an encounter that she had, an encounter that allowed her to open her heart and hands to receive the extraordinary gifts of the Holy Spirit. 

The encounter invites you to ask for your gifts, not in a material sense, but the gifts of the spirit – love, wisdom, guidance, and grace. It prompts us to open our hands and hearts wide, to be ready to accept the blessings that were intended for us.

The question asked was profound: "What gifts are you giving me today?" This was a reminder that we are continually receiving gifts from the Holy Spirit. 

Encounters with the Holy Spirit are an opportunity to deepen our relationship with the Lord, to receive the gifts that he has in store for us, and to grow in our spiritual journey. The gift of tongues is undoubtedly one of those subjects that sparks hesitation. For many, it remains a conversation fraught with uncertainty, avoided due to fear and misunderstanding. Yet, beneath the surface of these deep waters, there exists an opportunity for profound spiritual growth and discovery. 

Kristin continues her journey through the deep waters and brings listeners into a conversation centered around the gift of tongues. To fully understand the gift of tongues, we must take a deep dive into the scripture.

Our hesitancy to engage with the gift of tongues often stems from fear. Fear of the unknown, fear of ridicule, or fear of misunderstanding. During our walk with the Lord, there are often times where we yearn for a deeper connection and we find ourselves navigating in deep spiritual waters. In today’s episode Kristin invites mentor Leah Moore for a conversation on fasting, prayers, and how they become the compass that guides us through these deeper waters.

The deep water series is a profound exploration of our yearning for a deeper and more intimate connection with the Lord. Our spiritual journey often takes us through deep waters, where we encounter moments of uncertainty and challenge. However, these deep waters are also where we can experience the presence of the Holy Spirit most profoundly. By locking eyes with Jesus and allowing ourselves to be immersed in His love, we find the strength to navigate these waters and emerge transformed, ready to give His love to the world.

Understanding the gift of the Holy Spirit reveals that we are an integral part of God's plan. We are vessels through which love and purpose flow into the world. 

As we walk in alignment with the Holy Spirit, we become the highest concentration of the kingdom here on earth. Let us be vessels of love, compassion, and purpose as we embrace the gift of the Holy Spirit in our lives.

The journey of surrender is not always easy, but it can lead to profound healing, peace, and courage. Today, I invite you into deep waters with two visuals that have served as metaphors within my own life.
