Following his long-time enclosure at Central Park Zoo, Flaco escaped in Feb. 2023 and took up residence around the park ever since, becoming a beloved Central Park icon. Following Flaco’s passing a year later, Wollman Rink is welcoming visitors to celebrate his "love for exploring Central Park with an elegant ice performance by Wollman Rink NYC Academy members and current competitive athletes from The Skating Club of New York."
