In all this, Elijah lives a life of faith, trusting God and taking him at his word. But what does this look like? What does a life of faith look like?     How would you define wealth? There are many different ways for us to calculate true financial wealth. To each person, it may look differently. Truth is, we covet. We always long for a little bit more than what we have. It’s easy for people to make an idol of money and wealth. This love of money, and the accumulation of wealth, has caused temptation within the human heart since currency began being used - including Christians! We conclude our series, Church: Why Bother?, where together we learn about the beautiful design God created for YOU and His church. The Apostle Paul addresses this issue head-on, calling God’s people to view money differently than the world and gives us multiple charges to avoid the temptation and to seek something far greater, true life!
