The Magpies achieved the ultimate in 2023, winning the Premiership in a heart-stopper over the Lions.

Craig McRae arguably had the greatest day on earth with his wife giving birth the morning of the game, before coaching the Magpies to their 16th title.

Port Adelaide were on track for a top-two finish in 2023 before the season came to a grinding halt with a straight-sets exit in the finals.
