Fernando Firmino abordou a temática "jornalismo mobile" tema de sua tese do seu doutorado (in curso), durante a palestra realizada no Ciber.Comunica (Faculdades Jorge Amado) no dia 15 de maio. Segundo ele, a mobilidade estava presente na velha mídia, com a internet houve uma potencialização desta, principalmente no quesito portabilidade, tendo em vista os aparelhos celulares cada vez mais completos com ferramentas que permitem a criação e o envio in loco do fato/notícia.
