Episode 160: Hebrews 11:8-12 "Faith Willing"

Episode 160: Hebrews 11:8-12 "Faith Willing"
Abraham is the father of the faithful and is an example of faith willing. Abraham believed in the Lord and He accounted to him for righteousness. Sarah, his wife, joins the adventure by bearing a child even though she has long passed the age of child bearing. This appointed event occurs to begin the genealogy of Jesus Christ. Is anything to hard for the Lord? Abraham was: 1. Willing to go without knowing where 2. Willing to go without knowing why 3. Willing to believe and trust as he waits God said to Abraham; “You have skirted this mountain long enough, turn northward.” Today, our mountain may not be geographical, but it is a place. What is the place that you have spent too much time in that God is calling you out of? It is time to move in faith willing. You were created for good works. We are citizens of Heaven making our way through this earth as we walk with God through faith in Jesus. Accept today God’s free gift of salvation. Call upon the name of the Lord and be saved. Seek Him while He can still be found. His evidence is all around us. How is your heart? If you have questions, need someone to talk to or would just like to say hi, contact us. Episode 158: Hebrews 11:5-6 "Faith: Walking"

Episode 158: Hebrews 11:5-6 "Faith: Walking"
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. The prophet Enoch’s name means dedicated and as he believed, in faith, it changed him. Nobody accidentally walks with God. It has to be intentional. We need to be going the same way, the same pace and with the same faith. We are all prone to wander and need to yoke back up to Jesus. 5 key points to remember about Enoch are: His name He walked with God for over 300 years He leaves behind a powerful testimony He was taken away before he saw death He pleases God Enoch walked with God during the most wickedest time in human history. The remedy for change is to walk with Jesus. To run our God given race with endurance in the short time we have. How to begin? Start! Just start with one little step every day. Walking by faith pleases God. He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. What will be said of your faith? Accept today God’s free gift of salvation. Call upon the name of the Lord and be saved. Seek Him while He can still be found. His evidence is all around us. How is your heart? If you have questions, need someone to talk to or would just like to say hi, contact us. This message can also be heard on the Church website at ccrsv.org and viewed on YouTube. Episode 154: Hebrews 10:19-25 "Assembly Required"

Episode 154: Hebrews 10:19-25 "Assembly Required"
This study into the book of Hebrews now moves from doctrinal to practical. Key points of this study are: 1. Let us draw near to God 2. Let us hold fast to the hope we have 3. Let us consider one another We are all sinners in desperate need for a Savior. Let us always draw near to Jesus with a true, real and honest heart. So come now, let us reason together. Though our sins are like scarlet He will make them white as snow. Christ Jesus came into this world to save sinners, of whom I am chief, said Paul. It is time for us with boldness to draw near, each day moving closer than the day before. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Therefore let us not lose hope because He who promised is faithful. The storms of life will come and we may not agree with His timing but He who promised is faithful. Accept today God’s free gift of salvation. Call upon the name of the Lord and be saved. Seek Him while He can still be found. His evidence is all around us. How is your heart? If you have questions, need someone to talk to or would just like to say hi, contact us. This message can also be heard on the Church website and viewed on YouTube. Episode 143: Hebrews 3-4:11 "Good is Good, Better is Better."

Episode 143: Hebrews 3-4:11 "Good is Good, Better is Better."
Hebrews, the book of faith. In this world we can sometimes see good, but in the perspective of eternity, better is better when we consider Jesus. Closed doors open when we walk in faith. An unbelieving heart is: 1. an evil heart 2. a departing heart 3. a hardened heart 4. a restless heart We can daily make good better by encouraging ourselves and others. Today encourage. Tomorrow encourage. So that our hearts are not hardened by the deceitfulness of sin because first sin courts and then it kills. * Luke 5:19-23 * Luke 10:17-20 Let us not be shaped by how seasons appear around us. Let us be shaped by what God says in His word. Accept today God’s free gift of salvation. Call upon the name of the Lord and be saved. Seek Him while He can still be found. If you have questions, need someone to talk to or would just like to say hi, contact us. This message can also be heard on the church website at ccsrv.org and viewed on YouTube. Episode 142: Hebrews 2 "Who am I?"

    Episode 142: Hebrews 2 "Who am I?"
Who am I can be answered with a question, ‘Who is Jesus to you?’ God wants to meet us now, exactly where we are with all of our baggage and honesty so we can truly be born again. The God of the universe was willing to put Himself into time and space, take the form of man, to walk where we walk, to bring His perfect love to us. We have been paid for with a price, created for a purpose in this world and the world to come. Jesus Christ, is the Captain of our salvation. Accept today God’s free gift of salvation. Call upon the name of the Lord, today, and be saved. Seek Him while He can still be found. His evidence is all around us. Exodus 30:11-30 - 31:1-18 "Worship Is...Experiential"

    Exodus 30:11-30 - 31:1-18 "Worship Is...Experiential"
Pastor Brian Daly continues this study into the book of Exodus with this sub-series titled “Worship Is…” All we can do is appoint, it is God who anoints us. We need to pray that God will anoint everything in our life. The same power that rose Jesus from the grave lives in us! We are called to be set apart, to be used for God’s glory. Let us give Jesus the building permit of our hearts. Accept today God’s free gift of salvation. Call upon the name of the Lord and be saved. Seek Him while He can still be found. His evidence is all around us. If you have questions, need someone to talk to or would just like to say hi, contact us. Exodus 29: Worship is..."a Position of Privilege"

Exodus 29: Worship is..."a Position of Privilege"
Pastor Brian Daly continues this study into the book of Exodus with this sub-series titled ‘Worship Is…’ This chapter is the pinnacle of the book of Exodus. Here are 4 key points: 1. God needs to wash us, baptize us, cleanse us as white as snow. 2. God needs to clothe us in righteousness. 3. God needs to anoint us. 4. God needs to consecrate us. The wages of sin is death. Without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sin. Jesus is the lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. Christians, we have been born for this time, this season. Let us pick up our cross and follow Him tuning out the noise and distractions of this world. Accept today God’s free gift of salvation. Call upon the name of the Lord and be saved. Seek Him while He can still be found. There is not a lack of evidence. If you have questions, need someone to talk to or would just like to say hi, contact us. Exodus 24: "Worship is...relationship"

    Exodus 24: "Worship is...relationship"
Pastor Brian Daly continues this study into the book of Exodus with a sub-series titled ‘Worship is…” Worship: Is anything we do that lifts the name of God and deepens our relationship with Jesus. At the end of our worship, we want to have God’s vision and compassion. No matter what the season, or our prayer, in His perfect way, in His perfect will, we will see Him. Accept today God’s free gift of salvation. Call upon the name of the Lord and be saved. Seek Him while He can still be found. There is not a lack of evidence. Exodus 20:12-17 "God's Top 10" Part 2

    Exodus 20:12-17 "God's Top 10" Part 2
Pastor Brian Daly continues with God’s top 10. The 10 Commandments. We can only do 6 through 10 if we first engage and accept 1 through 4. Loving God and loving people is the vertical and horizontal stance as Christians we must take. 1 Corinthians Chapter 13, Matthew’s recording of the Sermon on the Mount and Proverbs 16:21 are key scripture references that need to be written on the tablet of our hearts. It is the subtle acts of transgressions we view as normal that build our lives on shifting sands instead of on the solid rock of Jesus Christ. Accept today God’s free gift of salvation. Call upon the name of the Lord and be saved. Seek Him while He can still be found. There is not a lack of evidence. If you have questions or need someone to talk to, contact us. Exodus 19 "The Presence of God"

Exodus 19 "The Presence of God"
What comes to mind when you think about standing in the presence of the living God? Does it make you want to hide like Adam and Eve? Run the other way like Jonah? Be overcome by inferiority as Isaiah the prophet who said; “I am a man of unclean lips.” Filled with joy like David? Or fall as if dead like John? If Jesus were sitting with us, today, right now, what changes would we make? Pastor Brian Daly continues this inspiring study from the great book of Exodus with challenging applications to the current world we live in. God has removed the Hebrews out of Egypt and He is now directing Moses to get Egypt out of the Hebrews. The Old Testament is the New Testament concealed. The law does not save, it never has saved, only Jesus can save. Accept today God’s free gift of salvation. Call upon the name of the Lord and be saved. Seek Him while He can still be found. There is not a lack of evidence. If you have questions or need someone to talk to, contact us. This message can also be heard on the church website at ccsrv.org and viewed on YouTube. A life changing part of John's gospel explained (good conversation with Alan and Pete)

A life changing part of John's gospel explained (good conversation with Alan and Pete)
We look at John chapter 3 and its enduring importance in bringing people out of a path to destruction into ultimate salvation. “If we were asked to read to a dying man who did not know the gospel, we should probably select this chapter as the most suitable one for such an occasion; and what is good for dying men is good for us all, for that is what we are; and how soon we may be actually at the gates of death, none of us can tell.” (Spurgeon)

Exodus 17:8-16 "Who is God?" Part 7

Exodus 17:8-16 "Who is God?" Part 7
Pastor Brian Daly continues this bible study with a sub title of How To Wage War and Win. Battles are going to come. Attacks will be sudden and unprovoked. Challenges will come both internally and externally. Know this, we are all in a battle of flesh versus spirit. Victory will only happen with God’s intervention but we must engage in action. We must engage in the spiritual battle around us. Ephesians 6:10-18. All is won first in prayer, so then contingent on the victory, is the power of prayer. With our hands lifted up like Moses. Temptation is not a sin, it is a battle cry to pick up our sword to fight. Know this also, greater is He who is in us than he that is in the world. A Study Guide is attached for your research. Accept today God’s free gift of salvation. Call upon the name of the Lord and be saved. Seek Him while He can still be found. There is not a lack of evidence. Every design has a designer. Luke 24:13-35 "Why are you sad?"

Luke 24:13-35 "Why are you sad?"
He is risen! Oh how foolish it is in the storms of life, to place our trust in worldly treasures. We need to trust and meditate on the word of God and nothing else. Let us not limit ourselves to only what our hearts can understand. The word became flesh and dwelt among us. He is the way, the truth and the life. His words offer no clichés, rhymes or empty promises. He says come as you are. In any season. He stands at the door of our hearts and knocks. God cannot and will not let you down. He will never leave you nor forsake you. He is the remedy to our sadness. Call on Him, and let deep cry out to deep.
