На 9 августа в Белоруссии запланированы выборы президента. Нынешняя избирательная кампания в стране идет очень напряженно — она сопровождается арестами независимых кандидатов и массовыми выступлениями.

В Минске и других белорусских городах люди собирались на главных улицах в многокилометровые живые цепи в знак протеста против арестов политиков и активистов. Протестующих жестко задерживал ОМОН и полицейские. Одной из акций, которые разогнала милиция, была очередь в сувенирный магазин.

Протестный потенциал у этого собрания покупателей действительно был. Магазин Symbal.by (то есть «Символ»), который продавал одежду и сувениры с национальной символикой, начал торговлю футболками с надписью «ПСІХО3%» — это отсылка к сообщениям о рейтинге поддержки Александра Лукашенко (несогласные с ним считают, что рейтинг президента составляет три процента). 12 июня милиция изъяла 419 футболок, изготовленных магазином. Покупатели решили поддержать Symbal.by и купить там товары — очереди начали собираться 23 июня.

В первый же день к собравшимся подъехали автозаки, милиционеры грубо задержали 20 человек. Но очереди стали собираться снова.
