Halo Infinite's multiplayer progression comes under fire by fans for egregious practices, the Golden Joystick 2021 winners announced,  Cyberpunk 2077 players are flooding the game's steam page with positive reviews and the new Bioshock may feature two cities, one above, one below. All that and Dan and Dave's thanksgiving weekend on episode 296.

To those who celebrate, Happy Thanksgiving! We here at 4Player are thankful to have such a lively and active community in Discord and on Twitch. So with that in mind, we did something a little bit different this week. We recorded two distinct segments featuring an upcoming game and brought in a community guest to talk about them! Not to be outdone by Nickelodeon, Warner Bros. is rumored to be making a Smash style fighting game as a roster leaks online. Dan and Dave discuss if this is even a good idea. Also in the news, Nintendo falters out the gate launching its Expansion Pak addition to it's online membership, we get some Halo Infinite single player footage from 343 Studios and in bittersweet news, the PAX South convention is closing due to waning attendance. Oh boy, our favorite rapper turned game console developer Souja Boy claims he's CEO of Atari. Could this be true? After a polarizing gameplay demo during the Xbox Games Showcase, 343 Studios addresses the graphics in Halo Infinite and clarifies it's take on multiplayer and microtransactions. Also in the news, a big Nintendo leak reveals Luigi was going to be in Super Mario 64 and 2K's upcoming football game will have actual player names and likenesses. And at the end of the show, Dan quizzes Dave on his Mario knowledge.

Big news dropped from Nintendo this week. After only a screenshot of the logo back from E3 2017, Nintendo announces that it will be throwing out work done on Metroid Prime 4 and bringing back Retro Studios back into the fold. Alos, rumors of a Metroid Prime Trilogy remake emerge, Google wants to get into the home console game and Betheseda denies Fallout 76 free-to-play rumors.
