    Nearly every organized religion acknowledges the existence of "sin" and the spiritual ramifications of engaging in behaviors deemed inappropriate by their specific religious tradition. Islam is no different. While Islamic holy texts are replete with declarations of God's grace and the reality that salvation is only had through the grace of Allah, nevertheless, Islam too acknowledges that certain behaviors are, by definition, "sinful."
