Alors que Boeing a pu reprendre les livraisons du 737 MAX et obtient petit à petit les autorisations nécessaires des autorités nationales pour sa remise en service, le programme a de nouveau retrouvé un rythme constant de production, qui pourrait accélérer si la demande est là et si la chaîne d'approvisionnement peut suivre. Jean-Marc Fron s'en félicite, sans éluder les retards du 777X et les difficultés du 787, et confirme par ailleurs que les réflexions sont toujours en cours sur le lancement d'un programme pour couvrir le segment de marché des ‪757-767.

Il évoque également les prévisions de croissance du transport aérien, qui n'ont pas été modifiées à long terme par la crise sanitaire, mais qui ont évolué dans le sens où cette croissance va devoir être rendue acceptable d'un point de vue environnemental. À ce propos, il rappelle quelles sont les pistes privilégiées par Boeing pour améliorer l'empreinte de l'aviation.

Il souligne également l'implication de l'avionneur américain en France, avec ses équipes, ses clients et ses partenaires. Boeing a déjà recours à plus d'une centaine de fournisseurs dans le pays et essaie de développer encore son empreinte industrielle dans le pays. Il rencontre actuellement différents industriels dans le cadre d'un tour de France afin d'identifier ceux qui pourraient soutenir sa production.

#379 - Nach 616 Tagen oder 20 Monaten darf die Boeing 737 MAX wieder in die Luft, also zumindest in den USA. In anderen Regionen und Ländern stehen die Zulassungen noch aus. Es stehen noch die Trainingsprogramme der Airlines aus, damit die amerikanischen Fluggesellschaften die Boeing 737 MAX wieder in Betrieb nehmen können. 

16,8 Mrd. USD hat das Grounding der 737 MAX Boeing gekostet. Die FAA hat 60.000 Arbeitsstunden aufgewendet, um die Änderungen am Flugzeug, der Dokumentation etc. Durchzuführen und vor allem zu prüfen und testen. Mehr als 40 Ingenieure, Inspektoren, Piloten und technische Assistenten waren damit beschäftigt gewesen. Die Behörde habe selber etwa 50 Stunden Flug- oder Simulatortests durchgeführt und insgesamt mehr als 4000 Stunden Flug- oder Simulatortests analysiert.

#268 - Die Skandale rund um die Boeing 737MAX reissen nicht ab. Boeing hatte jetzt dem Parlament interne Emails zur Verfügung gestellt und es gibt dort einige verstörende Konversationen. “designed von Clowns, die wiederum von Affen beaufsichtigt werden”,"Sieht aus, als hätte mein Jedi-Trick wieder funktioniert","deren eigene Dummheit" und "Idioten". Es wurde Fluggesellschaften Flugsimulatoren ausgeredet, da Behörden in den USA, Europa, Kanada, China, Malaysia und Argentinien ein kurzes Computertraining als Anforderung für den Umstieg von 737 NG auf 737 Max akzeptiert haben.

"Boeing wird das nicht zulassen", "Wir werden uns mit jeder Aufsichtsbehörde auseinandersetzen, die versucht, dies zu einer Anforderung zu machen." sagte der damalige technische Chefpilot Mark Forkner 2017. Solche Trainings werde es nicht geben.

#16 - Scandals around the development of the Boeing 737MAX are not ending. When you think you have heard it all, then Boeing makes it worse. The gave over 100 emails to the government and revealed some disturbing conversations. "designed by clowns who are supervised by monkeys","looks like my Jedi trick did work","own stupidity" or just "Idiots". That are quo's that you could read in the mails. Boeing told airlines not to buy simulators, as authorities in the US, Canada, Europe, China, Malaysia and Argentina said that an app on iPad is enough for a 737NG pilot to fly a Boeing 737MAX.

Not only the language is disturbing, also that an airline was stopped to invest into safety. But we will see how Boeing is going to change corporate culture.
