Colleen Stan claims she was an experienced hitchhiker, she actually denied two rides to go past before accepting the ride with Hooker. Her reason for accepting the ride was because she felt “Confident climbing into the blue van since his wife (Janice) and the baby were in the car”

They stopped at a gas station along the way, Colleen went to use the restroom. When she reflects back to that moment, she remembers this gut feeling or "A voice telling her to run and jump out a window and never look back," but instead calmed her fears and went back to the car.

Once they were in an isolated area, Hooker pulled off the highway then held Colleen at knifepoint, then gagged, blindfolded, handcuffed, and forced her into what is known as a “head box,” which was designed to prevent light, sound, and fresh air from entering. Once she was locked into the head box he got back on the road, headed to his home in Tehama County, Red Bluff, California.

Den 5. november 2020 udkommer dokumentarfilmen ‘7 Years of Lukas Graham’, der følger den danske musikstjerne på sin rejse mod toppen af verdens hitlister. Instruktøren bag filmen er 42-årige René Sascha Johannsen, der i dette afsnit lægger vejen forbi Bløde Værdier til en snak om sit arbejde med storytelling.

Opvokset i Sønderborg og med en voksende interesse for både skateboards og filmmediet drønede René rundt med farens VHS kamera og optog skatevideoer i stor stil. Senere forfulgte han drømmen i København, og kom i 2001 for første gang på tv-skærmen med dokumentarfilmen Offpiste om snowboarding.

Siden tog karrieren fart, blandt andet som fotograf og klipper på Mads Brüggers “Det Røde Kapel” (2009), og i dag har René over 30 musikvideoer, flere dokumentarfilm og serier fra ind- og udland, filmfestivalpriser og et længere ophold i USA bag sig. Blandt andet kan han som eneste dansker nok bryste sig af, at have 1.000.000.000 visninger på YouTube med videoen til Lukas Grahams verdenshit ‘7 Years’.

Vi dykker ned i Renés værktøjskasse, bliver helt nørdede omkring hans brug og sammensætning af grej, når han er ude som one-man-band, og taler selvfølgelig en hulens masse storytelling. Undervejs influerer virkeligheden også på vores snak, da René får beskeden om, at hans film har fået seks stjerner i musikmagasinet Gaffa.
