    Aliens

    Aliens

In this week’s episode of the AIPT Movies podcast, Alex, Tim, and Matt discuss James Cameron’s 1986 science fiction action/horror classic, Aliens! Is the scene where Hicks shows Ripley how to use a Pulse Rifle the most romantic scene in movie history? Probably not, but Alex seems to think so! Also, Tim pulled a “Mrs. Doubtfire” to get back his dream role as Harry in the Harry & the Hendersons reboot, but did his crazy scheme work? Listen now to find out!

The AIPT Movies podcast brings you the latest in movie news, reviews, and more! Hosted by supposed “industry vets,” Alex Harris, Tim Gardiner, and Matt Paul, the show gives you a peek behind the scenes from three filmmakers with oddly nonexistent filmographies. You can find Alex on Instagram and Twitter @alexharriscomix. Matt is a terrific artist that you can find on Instagram @no_wheres_ville. Tim can’t be found on social media because he doesn’t exist. If you have any questions or suggestions for the AIPT Movies crew, they can be reached at aiptmoviespod@gmail.com.

You can find AIPT Movies on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or wherever you get your podcasts. As always, if you enjoy the podcast, be sure to leave us a positive rating, subscribe to the show, and tell your friends!

    Andrew Synowiec

    Andrew Synowiec
I met Andrew Synowiec when he came on the October 15th, 2018 show with Paul Rivera Jr. and I talked to him about being on the show and tonight that is happening! An amazing session guitarist, you have heard Andrew on such motion pictures as "Frozen" and it's hit song "Let It Go," "The Greatest Showman," "Coco," "Spiderman: Homecoming," "Logan," "Zootopia,"Oblivion," "Transformers," "Mission Impossible," "A Good Day To Die Hard," and the list goes on and on! We talk to Andrew about his new album, "Second Story," his gigging and session work and more!! It's a night of some great playing, ultimate tone and gear!!

    The Die Hard Movies

    The Die Hard Movies

In celebration of Dwayne Johnson’s new action blockbuster Skyscraper, as well as the recent roast of Bruce Willis on Comedy Central, we decided to talk about the (surprisingly pretty good) series of movies known only as the Die Hard franchise. Anthony took over as host this week as we took a 25-year journey from 1988 all the way to 2013 and tried to figure out how this franchise has handily managed to keep going. Afterwards, we throw out some ideas for what we’d like to see from the forthcoming 6th installment of the series, and some of our director suggestions might not be what you expect. Enjoy!

Hosted by Anthony Battaglia, Jason Read, and Sam Noland!

Question For You: How did you like Anthony as a host? Also, give us your pitch for a 6th installment in the Die Hard series.

Episode #37: A Good Day To Die Hard (Part 1)
John McClane is back, but is he better than ever? Andrew and Monica give their general, spoiler-free thoughts on the fifth entry in the Die Hard franchise. This is the first film in the series to take place in another country, but does this fish-out-of-water tale of father/son bonding work at all? Tune in to find out.
