    Leviticus Chapter 22 Part 2

    Leviticus Chapter 22 Part 2
When we deal with worship, a major part of worshiping is giving. And we need to give based upon the instructions of God. And we're going to be looking at a passage of scripture that teaches us some important principles on giving, how we demonstrate worship in our life, that we are willing to make sacrifices and to give these offerings unto the Lord. Resiliency: The Trait that Defines Champions

Resiliency: The Trait that Defines Champions
In this episode, I'm going to explore the concept of resiliency, a trait I believe is crucial for success in life. I share some inspiring stories of folks who have demonstrated remarkable resilience, such as boxer Joe Fraser, who developed a powerful left hook after his father's tragic accident, and football player John David Crow, who faced a difficult decision but chose to persevere. In this episode I also emphasize that resilience is not about living life on the edge, but about going the extra mile when necessary. Develop resilience by pushing yourself a little bit more than you think you can, and I assure you that the resilience will become your hallmark and trademark for a successful life.

    Psalm 100: We Are His

    Psalm 100: We Are His

    Psalm 100 (NIV)

Our hosts discuss the implications of being created by God, of being His people, of being the sheep of His pasture. He is in charge. We need to abandon the Cain-like arrogance in which we think we get to do what we want to do our way instead of surrendering our allegiance and submission to God.

What does the Bible say about Why the Bible #4?

What does the Bible say about Why the Bible #4?

In this fourth and final episode of why we have the Bible, Arnie and Fred begin by noting that the Bible teaches us how to become one of the saved. We discuss several passages that tell us that God wants all men to be saved. Related to that, we look at passages that explain to us how a person becomes a Christian. We see that the Bible also is a guide for disciples in living as Christians. We point out in our discussion that all of the epistles or letters were written to Christians and for Christians.  In those letters is guidance that the Lord expects Christians to follow in order to live as acceptably unto God as possible. Finally, we see that the Bible reveals the destiny of human souls. We discuss the difference in the physical body and the soul. We end our discussion by noting what the destiny of each soul is.  Take about 30 minutes to follow our discussion. Have your Bible handy so you can verify what we are saying. There is a transcription provided for this Buzzsprout episode for your convenience.

    A Living Sacrifice (Final Lesson)
Our overall service ought to be that which would be acceptable to God. We must do what God requires of us, so that we may be accepted by Him. One of the highest recompenses we can receive is to be acceptable by God. It should matter little what people think of us if God approves of what we do. To please Him should be our highest aim; the fact that we do please Him is our highest reward.
