Stop Packaging Yourself For Others And Start Living For Yourself w/ Andrew Horn, Founder of The Junto & Tribute.co

In this episode, Marc interviews Andrew Horn, co-founder and CEO of Tribute.co, a platform with over 5 million users.

They discuss Andrew's journey to finding his purpose, which starts with a question about what it means to live a life well-lived. Andrew talks about his experience at an event called Renaissance Weekend and how it led him to start asking himself essential questions. He shares how he found his passion for service and how it motivated him to start his first entrepreneurial venture.

Andrew emphasizes the importance of taking ourselves off autopilot, asking fundamental life questions, and finding clarity through solitude. Andrew is also the founder of the Junto, “A not-so-secret club for the exploration of modern manhood and personal transformation,” and leads monthly men’s retreats around the USA.

Track and Field Paralympian Ezra Frech on Creating a Circle of Inspiration

Track and Field Paralympian Ezra Frech on Creating a Circle of Inspiration

"An Olympic athlete...their body needs to feel good, but as far as equipment goes, they just need their spikes, and they're fine. I have to have multiple different parts different things, different hinges, equipment in case something goes wrong. I'm literally bringing a suitcase with me, filled with spare parts in case something breaks while in Tokyo."

Today's guest is Ezra Frech, the youngest athlete on the US Paralympic track and field team. Ezra was born missing his left knee and left fibula, and fingers on his left hand, yet with a relentless attitude he's qualified for the Tokyo Paralympic Games in 3 events, at just 16 years old!

Even though he’s only 16, he’s worked hard to become someone who thrives off of overcoming challenges. Throughout our conversation with Ezra you'll hear a sense of belief that what he’s doing is so much greater than just winning; that winning is a stepping stone towards so much more. He admits to having a vision of helping to bring adaptive sports to the forefront of the sports world and really believes he can have an impact. When you listen to him speak, we believe you will too!

Throwing Down the Hammer (with Steph Hammerman)

Throwing Down the Hammer (with Steph Hammerman)

Today we're talking to athlete and coach Steph Hammerman, better known online as Steph the Hammer. Steph was born with cerebral palsy, and since discovering CrossFit years ago, she’s been a prominent force in the space as both a coach to all and an advocate for adaptive athletes. In many cases, that meant leading from the front by being the first person with cerebral palsy to compete at numerous prominent events in the fitness and CrossFit spaces. In 2014, she became the first person with cerebral palsy to earn a Level 2 CrossFit Certificate.

Our conversation focuses on Steph’s career in fitness, including some frank discussion of lower points and lessons learned, including when Steph had to close her gym during the COVID-19 pandemic.
