    Adelaide Fringe: Behind the Scenes

    Adelaide Fringe: Behind the Scenes

Fringe Director and CEO Heather Croall AM joins Matt, Anna and Tim to talk about the festival’s enormous economic impact, and what’s in store for this year!

Established as an adjunct to the Adelaide Festival in 1960 to showcase smaller, local performers, Adelaide Fringe has long since outgrown its roots. It’s now a multi-genre mega-event that’s famous globally and so beloved locally that one in every two South Australians attended at least one show in 2023. This was the year the Adelaide Fringe made history, becoming the first Australian festival to sell one million tickets – and we’ve largely got Director and CEO Heather Croall AM to thank for that! She joins Hot Topics to discuss all things Fringe, including why 2024 is set to be the biggest one yet.

Comedians On Carnival Rides Drinking Wine

Comedians On Carnival Rides Drinking Wine

Well Well Well, you've heard of comedians in cars getting coffee, but get ready for comedians on carnival rides drinking wine before a gig that they really should've been more prepared/ sober for.

Doesn't really have the same ring to it does it? But it does explain exactly what Nikki Britton has been up to at Adelaide Fringe the past week.

Plus Harley's been left alone to his own devices in his house, surprisingly hasn't burnt it down - but his family have learnt a few lessons while they've been away.

And back in adult land, Nikki's been called brave by a genuine hero and it's definitely not going to her head one little bit.
