Afraid of Love in the Afterlife

Afraid of Love in the Afterlife

True love means sticking with a person "till death do us part". But what happens when the human bond of love extends beyond death into the afterlife?

    The Love Story
When Robert (Bob) Possiel scrolled to Jen’s profile on a social media platform, he was just looking for a trainer for his overeager new puppy. A business owner with a great life and two marriages behind him, he wasn’t seeking anything more. But events would soon show Bob that the seemingly chance meeting was not so coincidental after all... and that the bond he and Jen would come to share would transcend struggles, separations, and even themselves in a breathtaking tale of the power of love in the face of seemingly insurmountable obstacles, including death.

Ruthie Larkin (Beantown Medium) - the psychic medium that Bob consulted - joins us to help tell the story, and unveils how amazing events unfolded in one of her most memorable client cases.

    About Robert Possiel
Robert is a successful entrepreneur, lifelong race car aficionado, and proud Great Dane Dad who never expected to become an author. He also never expected the outcome of an improbable relationship that blossomed into finding his soulmate. The experiences recounted in Bob's non-fiction book - "Love is Always the Answer" - have led him on a spiritual path to understanding the mysteries which we too often ignore. He’s sharing his story to help others find inspiration during their own life challenges. He especially hopes to lighten the grief for those who have had a similar experience in losing the love of their lives.

    About Ruthie Larkin (Beantown Medium)
Ruthie Larkin has had psychic and healing abilities since childhood. She used them for the benefit of her family and close friends until 2007... when she decided to embrace her calling. Having spent her adult life in corporate sales for major organizations, she finally decided it was time to utilize her gifts. She now has a substantial following around the country, particularly in the New England area. She's available for private, phone, and group readings, as well as large events.

Afraid of Voices from Lily Dale

Afraid of Voices from Lily Dale

Spiritualism is alive and well ... which is ironic because it is a religion that talks to the dead.

This is part 1 of a 3 part series on Lily Dale, the world's largest spiritual community. Located in upstate New York somewhere between Buffalo, Niagara Falls and the Canadian border, "The Dale" welcomes roughly 20,000 visitors through its pearly gates each summer for lectures, classes, readings and healings. Lily Dale's year-round residents number around 275 and it has its own post office and fire department -- not to mention one of the country's oldest pet cemeteries and a bonafide fairy trail.

In part 1 I talk with Reverend Ron Skowronski who leads a popular ghost walk that is part scares, part history with dollop of humor and a night cap of spiritualism mixed in. The 3-hour walk transverses most of the hamlet and culminates at the famous "Inspiration Stump" under a canopy of trees with, amazingly, no mosquitoes (although you will get bitten most any other time except for the end of Reverend Ron's ghost walks -- go figure!). A skilled story-teller and knowledgeable spiritualist, and a genuine good guy, Ron is the perfect guide to kick off this mini series. Enjoy!

Special thanks to 13-year old Emily Heske for recording the intro.
