The new weapon system of DRDO (Defence Research Development Organisation) has Multiple Independently Targetable Re-entry Vehicle (MIRV) technology, which ensures that a single missile can deploy multiple war heads and hit targets at different locations simultaneously. This is technology that China has which India does now as well. भारत ने सोमवार (11 मार्च) को न्यूक्लियर बैलेस्टिक मिसाइल अग्नि-5 (Agni-5 Missile) की पहली फ्लाइट टेस्टिंग की, जो सफल रही. इस मिसाइल की सफल फ्लाइट टेस्टिंग से भारत की जद में सिर्फ चीन और पाकिस्तान ही नहीं, बल्कि आधी दुनिया आ गई है. प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी (PM Narendra Modi) ने मेक इन इंडिया प्रोजेक्ट के तहत विकसित अग्नि -5 मिसाइल के पहले सफल फ्लाइट टेस्ट के लिए डिफेंस रिसर्च एंड डेवलपमेंट ऑर्गेनाइजेशन (DRDO) के वैज्ञानिकों को शुभकामनाएं दी हैं.
